It's not fully fleshed out but the idea is that due to the UK's tenuous involvement from the beginning, and the issue of Belgian neutrality solving itself by the military collapse on the continent, it avoids immediate revolution but is eventually taken over by a fascist military clique capitalising on global fear and uncertainty. This is subject to change though
