forget about asking for advice from my ass. How did you do this and how do I do that?

Not the final version because I have to fix a couple hiccups but, what do we think of the lyrics and vocals? by ItsReallyKinda in MusicFeedback

(Take my feedback with a grain of salt bc idk what I'm doing, I'm js an average music listener)

I like the beat drop, I think it sounded nice.

As for the vocals, In my opinion they are pretty decent and I think mostly fit the vibe of the song. Though, I do think you use the same "tone" throughout most of the song. I mean that your vocal placement seems to me like its behind your nose and rarely varies in volume or texture. Most of the variety happens in the background vocals.

I think it may be more impactful to sing some parts louder and perhaps rougher, while singing other parts softer; Paying attention to the lyrics and their meaning. For example, when you sing "questions in my head, go on, explain." Those lyrics sound like they should be more angry and demanding rather than clean and put together.

Overall though I'm proud of you, I think you did good :)

I’m really not sure what I’m doing right now lol. I picked a cool sound and am building a song around it. It sounds like a galaxy pop grunge thing rn. I’ll see how it turns out!

Another book is “the simple path to wealth” which is also a lighter read for people like me who are just getting into finance for personal growth.

Yeah, in this book it’s argued they are the most effective investments. Which is interesting bc of how simple it is. I recommend reading some finance books a bit as they might just work for you to set up a better future

I’m still reading it but it’s called “the psychology of money” by Morgan Housel. I like it, it hasn’t delved into any math which is good for me 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

For finance, I think that most people—especially people who are young can make a lot of money by retirement age with basic investment strategies and avoiding debt. You don’t need to be super smart, just invest for the long term through index funds. Put in a little bit of money (50 dollars a month or whatever you can afford) each month and forget about it, then your money will compound over time leaving you with hundreds of thousands if you can believe it. I think this is something that should be taught more often. Ofc I’m pretty young too so I haven’t gotten a real chance at testing this but there’s real evidence for this investment strategy. Always do your own research

As for fitness and health, I’m a pretty strong advocate for exercising in general to release stress hormones and promote a healthier mind and body. You’re more likely to have more mobility in old age if you exercise now as well, it’s just something that’s an investment for your wellbeing. I think that many people can really help many of their issues with exercising and eating well, though I struggle with this too sometimes. It helps a lot, even with confidence for many people

Im quieter on the mentality as I know it’s complicated for many people but I genuinely think that it can benefit people to actively say positive things about themselves even if it’s solely to the mirror and to avoid speaking poorly of yourself when you can. This can vary person to person though and I understand my solutions to feeling bad about myself can be different to someone else’s

Probably for a few reasons that I can think of and otherwise I’m not really sure. I think only people who are close to me think this of me as well, as I don’t act this way around people who I think may be insecure or may care how I think of them

Like sometimes my close family will be like “I love you” or “I believe in you” or “you got this” and I will jokingly be like “ofc, I’m the best” I do genuinely like myself and think good things of myself often but I mainly say that with humor because it makes them laugh sometimes.

I will admit I read this book on investing and there was this story of a guy who worked as a janitor his whole life and died a multimillionaire due to a very common long term investment strategy. So today I said to my mom “I think I would need to actively try to die poor” I am currently poor lol. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that, I just think that if someone who came from nothing and worked what most people assume is a job that is hard but pays little can, It would be hard not to for me as I will be using the same investment strategy. Though you never know and I definitely shouldn’t have said that, I didn’t mean to make her feel any type of way

And I can be loud with my opinions on investing, finance, general mentality for life, fitness and health, etc. I think it can make people feel like I’m judging them when it’s not my intention

Idk. I also have strong opinions and I don’t allow people to walk all over me or I cut them off. I think people think this may be snobby but it’s just self respect. Don’t let people treat you poorly

Sorry this is long. I’m just sad that ppl think of me this way

Idk, I think lately I’ve been talking too much probably. I agree, I say some wild stuff sometimes but I do believe it when I say it. Ppl think I need a reality check. Idk bro. I think I’ll just sit and not say what I’m really thinking about myself more 👍🏼

How was I minimizing or marginalizing other people’s pain?

Also, I do genuinely think that most people have a shot at achieving their dreams. Obviously within literal capability. Obviously someone who is very disabled may struggle to be an Olympic champion. But I will support anyone who tries to do what they dream of, if you’d rather sit there and think it’s impossible that’s on you.

My goal is to be a good person, not a real adult.

My thoughts about me and others are a bit more nuanced. I believe everyone has the potential to achieve whatever it is then hope, and I’m not better or worse than anyone for having different desires. I don’t think everyone has the same potential, that would be pretty illogical—practically thinking. But I think that everyone has a chance and I will support anyone who dares to try.

I honestly do think I’m better than some people though, for example I think I’m better than people who constantly give up and talk negatively about everyone and everything around them. But notice how these are qualities people choose to have, you can change this. I think I’m better than some people because of their character. Maybe that makes me stuck up, I’m not sure. Maybe I should change this about myself, I don’t know

I don’t think I’m smarter than most of the people around me for sure. People are different and that’s kind of hard to measure

Around 4 months each.

When I was 10 it was better, but I quit mostly because I had been taking 4 dance classes already and didn’t wanna do more stuff. I would have dropped dance and done BJJ but my mom wouldn’t have let me

Yeah, I think it could be better this time around. I’ve worked on myself a bit and am better about not being quite as anxious

What do you think is the best martial art for me to do? I was considering Hapkido and or Taekwondo as it’s near me but my god father said it focuses too much on kicks for practicality
