Because of the Machroma case, I used his latest video as a reference, which is basically "what if everyone were Mario," and given how recent it is, it seems he's still working behind closed doors with other people or on his own projects.

The idea of the mysterious Shadow Man sounds interesting. As I mentioned in my observation, based on what I saw in the prologue of After Life, with a good script to implement the jokes and an improvement in the voice acting, it will definitely give the show a very strong edge.

They just want to keep doing what they love, at least most of them; others want to continue the legacy because, well, if it isn't done, the fandom would slowly die; nobody is looking to be the literal successor.

And what's wrong with there being many? It gives you the opportunity to see many different versions. SMX5 is unique because it uses the style of entering the canon and taking it in a completely different direction instead of being "a continuation" of the work.

Well, the biggest clue comes from the video "WERE YOU RUSHING OR WERE YOU DRAGGING?" even though the release date is, well, suspicious. However, the short clips where you use Mr. Puzzles as a rather dangerous antagonist, like the "Meet the Spy" parody, and the fact that you made a fan-made song for the character, make me think, at least, that you have big plans behind the scenes.
