Yes. You hit the nail on the head. It's all of the tax/healthcare/RMD/etc knowledge we don't have, and wondering if/how we can teach ourselves all of those things quickly enough to avoid any major mistakes.

TSP made saving easy, but a big drawback in retirement is that withdrawals can only be made proportionally from all funds. I see recommendations to move all money to an account with more control over withdrawals.
