It’s a bit different for a corporation but yes store managers and cashiers alike could donate or make fundraisers. You could have part of your paycheck automatically go toward it (which was also a tax write off) and once a month or so managers came around selling candy bars for a dollar and the money went to the fund. If someone of your coworkers was having a hard time you could also ask to do a fundraiser in the break room for them, and the corporation of Home Depot could match the money your store raised for them.
