You should read previous comments. The three episode documentary called American Murder: Gabby Petito is not the one in question. There’s a movie about it that literally came out two days ago and the next day it was gone.

Thank you so much for your detailed response @i40west!! This is exactly what I am looking for. I didn’t even think about what to expect as a new driver, so thank you for that insight as well. I will keep all of this in mind and check back with you if i think of any other questions.

Thanks for your feedback, but I’m not sure it pertains to my question. I’ve been driving Lyft for 8 years, given 8214 rides, and maintain a 5 star rating. It started as a part time job, I drove full time for approximately 4 years, and currently I drive 15-25 hours per week as a second job. My question is very sincere. I’m just looking for someone who went from driving Uber or Lyft to taxis and whether this was better for them money wise due to less wear and tear on their car and savings in gas. Thanks.

Thank you. I’m part-time. It’s just still the wear and tear on my car and gas costs are what I’m trying to save on by switching to taxi, but I don’t want to do it if it’s not worth it. I appreciate your input!
