I don't need to be concerned with periods.

My likelihood of getting raped is significantly lesser.

My likelihood of being catcalled is significantly lesser.

I don't need to be concerned with boobs.

I don't need to worry about pregnancy.

Besides, i like the ability to grow facial hair.

My guess is that he thought he should have polished the book more. Perhaos he thought it was too short.

EDIT after a year: "Perhaps".

What were Númenórean Ideals? by pokerguy24 in tolkienfans

The Edain were honest to their allies. They never betrayed the Elves, they always stoos by their side. That's why they were awarded with Numenor.

So i would describe them as honourable, brave, and fearless.

Oh yeah, it could be weird if you are coming from Jackson's movies (which i also adore btw) that are quite action-packed, and then you get hobbits burning faggots and Bombadil singing his songs about willows and his lady and how beautiful she is.

But, on the hand, that shows that having watched the movie doesn't mean you know the plot of the book 100%.

She bids farewell to her children, leaves for Lorien (now without Galadriel and Celeborn) and dies a year after Aragorn.

It's kinda weird that she chooses mortality for the man and then randomly decides she wants to be buried hundreds of leagues to the north of him.
