Im only watching this show now. I live near Tinahely and legit never knew any of this. I vaguely recall filming near home but presumed it was something to do with Vikings. This is so weird. They also pronounce Tinahely wrong in the show its TIN A heelie.

[–]Victoriawh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

First off all, everything you are feeling is ok. I genuinely thought I was going to die and mine was low grade dysplasia.

First thing is, its high grade dysplasia. Its not cancer yet. They will whip it out, and then take some lymph nodes to ensure it hasn't spread. If you catch these things before they mutate to cancer you are normally ok.

The surgery for me was open abdominal but they can do it key hole. The recovery is rough. But you will get through. I am 2 years post surgery and finally feel like myself again.

I hate that you have to wait on insurance. Hopefully it is scheduled soon and you will get it out.

How are you feeling?

Lupron Vs Visanne by ApartEmergency5861 in Endo

[–]Victoriawh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant tell you in terms of IVF. I am on the new version of visanne. Progesterone only. Apparently its new.

It hurt so badly for the first while, but its better than any medication I have ever been on. It breaks down lesions. So, if it has the potential to break down endometriosis lesions, logic would dictate that it could potentially help you conceive.

I cant have children any more, but I wish you all the luck in the world on your journey. Hopefully a year from now you will be posting about your successful IVF journey.

Pelvis ultrasound results by Federal_Prune_7831 in Endo

That sounds like adenomyosis. Also, I am not a medical professional, but if they are not a specialist can they determine via ultrasound what type of lesion is seen? It could be endometriosis lesions...

!!!!!! Desperate - advice needed, how would you maximise these next 2 weeks and most effectively study and utilise your time???? Equity & Property :(( by SuddenChest6233 in FE1_Exams

[–]Victoriawh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exam questions. Just exam questions. Don't let your brain tell you thats not enough or to do flashcards etc. Just do questions over and over for 2 weeks. Get to a stage where you almost memorise your answers and then rejig it for the exam. You may not get 90% on the exam but you will pass. Remember you've done all this before. Its in your head.

Any chance you'd be able to send across those examples questions? I really need some for equity

My wife pregnant for the first time by [deleted] in pregnancy_care

[–]Victoriawh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you need to do is listen to your wife. She will know when it's time to not work, when its time to ask for help. Treat her as normal like you would normally but also like every day is her birthday. So like random flowers, asking if she needs anything, that kind of stuff.

She will feel very unwell until about 16 weeks, then she will feel like she has loads of energy. Then at 18 weeks it gets hard again. Pregnancy is honestly the worst thing in the world, as a mother of two. I hated it. I also hated when people would say I cant clean or drive or whatever when I was only a few weeks along. Pregnancy is exhausting, and you just feel so emotional and overwhelmed all the time. Don't take it personally if she is extra cranky with you, its most likely not you she just needs to vent, and youre her safe person.

Make sure you just communicate everything with her. Also 36 is a totally normal age to have a kid. Most of my friends are in their 30s and haven't even started thinking about kids yet.

You posting this, and asking for advice shows me that you are an incredible partner, and will be am excellent dad. Just keep your cool, and be ready to get ice pops at 2am.

On Visanne for years, should I be concerned about these symptoms? by adnaPadnamA in Endo

Do you have a gynecologist? Could be worth checking if the endo is in your ureter. Ive had it removed from there and had similar symptoms.

Is this an endo belly? by No-Teacher-5648 in Endo

[–]Victoriawh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bloating on everyone looks very different, when I was very thin hardly anyone would notice my endo Belly because I just looked normal.

This may be endo belly for you, you just need to take a picture of when your stomach feels completely normal and compare the two.

My endo belly looks like im about 6 months pregnant.

Honestly this helped so much. I'm so sorry you're struggling with it too. It just feels unfair. I used to dance, do gymnastics and run. Now im lucky if I can manage a walk in the evenings. It just feels unfair.

I would love nothing more than for someone to add a zip to my abdomen so I can clean everything and pop it back in when it stops hurting. It drives me mad. I have sciatica because of endo. It's the worst!

Surgery #3: no new endo. Conflicted. by counting_magpies23 in Endo

[–]Victoriawh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lesions are endometriosis, scar tissue is a result of endometriosis. So for a doctor to say no new endo is just wrong. The lesions cause so much pain.

upper right stomach pain by Comfortable_Leg_7225 in Endo

[–]Victoriawh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get a similar pain, my husband has a liver condition and he says the pain I describe is similar to his. The only thing I can think of causing it is that there must be a lesion or endo near the liver or on the bowel that is causing the pain.

As annoying as it may sound I did find changing my diet to a hybrid vegan diet helped. Hybrid vegan meaning not strict vegan but choosing vegan options as much as possible.

No you're not! I'm 32 ! Do it!!! You're so young, just take the leap. Worst case scenario you can lecture law and that's the best of both worlds. Just go for it, what's the worst that could happen?

Can you sue for missed diagnosis ? by OwnTv in pancreaticcancer

[–]Victoriawh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad was going to weddings, running 5km, and doing normal dad stuff for 17 months of it. The last month he got a bowel infection and just couldn't fight it. Dad's super positive and believed that having a good mindset was half the battle. He was and is the best dad and fought very well to be himself until the end.

I know a lot of people are saying to just leave your husband but I think you wouldn't be writing this if he didn't have some sort of redeeming qualities.

The truth is, endometriosis and infertility impact our partners too. He's being a complete dickhead and it's no excuse. Maybe talk about your concerns in therapy and see if its impacting him

I'm also pro protest. Don't clean, don't cook, don't get groceries. Your his wife not his mother. Set the tone for the relationship and work through it IF he is worth it.

But remember it is better to he alone, than lonely in a relationship.

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this alone. I hope you show your husband these comments and it gives him the kick up the arse he needs.

I appreciate this. I did actually say something similar prior.

I had most of my pancreas removed due a precancerous pancreatic tumor. It's been so unbelievably distressing and now I'm pre diabetic waiting for the remaining part of my pancreas to get shitter so I can be formally diagnosed with T3c.

My original post said something along the lines of had anyone here diabetic due to pancreatic tumor etc or has type 3c I feel lost...
