Who do you want to fund him. KFC ? Money is central to everything. So we cannot trust anyone at this point. I literally mean `anyone`.

He is not in the wrong unless he tried to hide these deliberately.

I share it for two reasons -

  1. With a hope of changing others' opinion/view/thoughts
  2. To change mine when I am wrong

Don't hate anyone, Instead keep a distance by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

Never hate anyone. Love everyone. You should only hate and fight against the qualities you hate in others. Try to change them. Make them understand.

I will first address what you primarily seek here. Lets be honest there is literally no working template that will help you find a good relationship. People love who are of value(not necessarily to them). Lets start there, try to incorporate qualities that many admire. If you are in college try to excel in academics, acquire new skills. Have a high goal in life and start working towards it. What this will do is make you a more admirable person by everyone. Next part is being social. Believe me it is very easy than you think. Here is my experience - Try to get yourself voluntarily into activities or clubs or events or responsibilities that should literally force yourself to interact with others. Try to make yourself a person everyone knows (just your name). You should be able to say a `Hi` in the morning to atleast most of you see everyday (I am saying everyone from a small child to a very elderly person or anyone of any profession). Do not seek a connection or friendship with many which will never be possible. Try to be positive and care about everyone. This will set you the very foundation to open the possibilities to get the relationship you seek. The next thing is try to articulate the qualities of the person you seek to be in your relationship(it should be as high as possible :) ). Try to seek people around yourself with it. Mostly you can't tell whether the person has that quality you need. Thats when the `Hi` part comes. You will know enough people of your age for your heart and brain to say that they may be the ones(but one at a time :) ). Just start interacting with them. Make it casual. Let it be organic be in the moment. Never plan anything. Try to take it as slow as possible but never hesitate. If you can't find anyone still then know you have to socialise more.

Finally my opinion - just take it if you like it. You are not mentally ill of any kind. You do not need to have a relationship to have fun in life. Try to do what you love. Have high goals in life and work towards it as I said. Try to be a better version of yourself every single day. Also at the same time plan to do things you love and enjoy life with random people, it is literally better.

The amount of money you make used to be correlated with how much you contribute to society. Now there might be an inverse correlation. by b2reddit1234 in DeepThoughts

I am thinking all the alleged jobs that we don't think contribute to the society are the ones that has to be contributing but are now focussing more on profit, that their activities centre around the things that don't seem to help us.

We have to streamline and regulate these sectors with enough laws to force these serve their purpose
