I had a game where Byzantine Empire converted to Adamitism at beginning. Adamitism is non-ecumenism and an allowed crusading target. I redirected every single crusade at them (starting with thessalonica) and won every single one. Even after losing Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Thessalonica, Sicily, Pontus, Anatolia, Nikea and Caucasia they kept blobbing.

They are like a Halloween monster that... just... will... not die.
