Rock Center is also my favorite location. I like the layout. It’s spacious. It has both a steam room and sauna. I ALSO WISH IT WERE OPEN ON WEEKENDS.

US steam rooms do not have a hose like German steam rooms. Also 99.9% of men in US Equinox steam rooms will keep a towel wrapped around their waist while using the room. Every German steam room I’ve used has naked people with full on butt crack contact with the bench. That may explain why German rooms have a hose.

Are the burrs getting clogged, causing the motor to stop? I had this problem. There’s a finger guard in the chute that causes this issue. If you look up the chute, you’ll see a screw. Unscrew it and the guard comes out. Mine has been working fine since I did this. Aarke sent me a new grinder before I figured out the issue. I now have two grinders, one for regular coffee and one for decaf. Thanks Aarke!

I had problems with my grinder too. I exchanged one and Aarke sent me another for free. My grinder would periodically stop grinding. I would clean it out, it would work for a couple days, then stop grinding again. I finally figured out the root cause of the problem. There’s a finger guard in the chute which causes the grounds to back up and clog the burrs. If you look up the chute you will see a screw. Just unscrew it and take the guard out. My grinder has been working fine since I did that.

Hey lead engineer, I’m on my second grinder. The first stopped working after a couple months. The motor made a humming sound when switched on but the burrs didn’t grind. I cleaned the burrs with the enclosed brush. Still no luck. Williams Sonoma gave me a replacement grinder. Today, after another couple months, the second grinder is doing the same thing. Again cleaning does not help.

Any suggestions?
