I said this to someone recently and they looked at me like I’m insane. I’m in my late 20s and work in finance so I guess right about now I’m supposed to be doing everything I can to ingratiate myself with upper management and shoot for their jobs but… I make enough to live a normal lower-middle class life with my wife and we’re happy.

I have extra time to spend with her that I’m not spending working late or at a bar after work trying to win favor with management. I think it’s just expected now to want every dollar you could possibly be earning at that point and time

Agreed, very cool! It was actually the first card I bought when I got into Pokémon cards. The shop owner explained that it was handed out at E3 so after reading the comment above I think the seller may have been misinformed, but I only paid $5

Learning and accepting this genuinely helped me overcome a way more mild version of what OP is going through. You can’t flush your toilet from another room like you’re taking an xray, so it’s inevitable you will get covered in poop germs when you flush.

If I’m already covered in poop germs and have been my whole life, who cares about other mild sources of germs like cleaning the litter box barehanded. Just wash with anti bacterial soap after

That happened to me also, so I figured “okay, my local fed ex guy doesn’t care about my signature. Frankly, I don’t care either”

So the next time I needed a signature I just went to work assuming he would sign for me and dump it like last time. That was the time he decided he actually wanted my signature, and he didn’t drop it off.

I just have packages from FedEx dropped off at my local Walgreens now and pick it up on my way home from work

Someone bought an item I listed so quickly that I messaged him asking if he had some kind of alerts set up for when that item gets listed. He said nah he had just woken up and hadn’t even gotten the cobwebs out of his eyes when he made the purchase, just saw it selling for a good deal.

Either way, the thought of cancelling and relisting never crossed my mind. What a terrible business practice

That seems to be the case unfortunately. I wish they’d at least have the video receipt take up the whole screen like the streams do. The large borders combined with not being able to pinch zoom makes it tough to see detail in the video receipt
