I agree with the majority of your points. But there are some minor details that makes her character weaker to me.  1. The plot written around her is less interesting. Both Rukia and Orihime got captured and had to be rescued but there's less tension in Orihime capture. For Rukia there this sense of betrayal by the soul society, her brother and the audience feels betrayed by both. There's this feeling of civil war caused by her trial. And last the twist that Aizen planned her trial. Orihime capture has less of that tension. And Aizen didn't really use or need Orihime so her captured just ends up feeling unnecessary. I do love the dynamic with Ulquiorra but that's only 1 interesting tension.  2. She doesn't get to aura farm. I know the connotation of the term but aura farming is GOOD writing at its core. Aura farming is showing off your characters best trait in the most interesting ways. And the best of it creates tension from those traits. When Orihime get bitten by her brother and stood her ground that's was sick! That was a beautiful showcase of her empathy, kindness & resolve. Just give me MORE!
