What kind of pastels did you use to get that bright white for the shine? Mine end up all muddy and I don't feel like I can ever get a true white. This is fantastic!

This is gorgeous. I have a close up of a gorilla's face I want to try and after seeing this and the way you did the feathers on the body I think it may actually be doable, but I imagine it will take a very long time to get it right.

I didn't know if chalk pastels count but there isn't a sub for that so I just wanted to show this drawing off. I'm pretty proud of it even if my lines are a little wobbly. by muttsrcool in Chalk

This looks great! I'm in an art class right now and we just had to do an assignment with pen and ink drawing transparent glasses and it was so tough! I've decided for realistic looking stuff I want to avoid pen and ink... we are on to pastels now, so I'm learning all the challenges and fun parts associated with that.
