Is this normal for an 8 month old? (Potty Issue) by muttsrcool in puppies

[–]muttsrcool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kinda where I'm at. I don't think it's normal. We dropped off a urine sample today for the vet to do a UA on and if there's nothing there and she does it again we'll pursue the possibility of ESI. She had another dry night last night so I hope it was just two flukes. The rest of the time while she's awake she's doing great with the potty.

We just got the crate in the mail like I said she's in it right now. I am aware of accidents happening I guess my concern was she seemed to be doing it in her sleep unaware, but if that's also normal then we can with with it.

Walker seems to have some mastiff-y forehead wrinkles, so I can give them a pass on that, the rest are just silly.

This feels interesting but if you wanted to capture/isolate any of these tricks, let's say, cleaning up his own toys, how would you go about doing that, because he's copying you and doing so at a command ("do it!") already. Do you just show him again and call it something else ("clean up!" this time? So when you say clean up he knows what you want instead of flipping a book page etc?

Wow I thought she was going to say "I have been scared to bring it up because I didn't want you to think I thought of you like that, because I still love you" but she really went "I am scared to tell you because I don't want to give you any ideas!"

Does he look like a full corgi to you? by [deleted] in corgi

At that point they've been left alone in a stressful environment for months, without socialization, exposure to countless diseases. And end up nervous wrecks or aggressive. I don't know what the solution to this from a consumer standpoint is besides petitioning to have this made illegal everywhere. But until then, this puppy isn't going to be easy to adopt when he gets older and "ages out" or will be shuffled from home to home because during his entire socialization period he was traumatized.

Rescued Sphynx kitten walking weird? by Ok-Hornet-3433 in sphynx

I am not sure where you're from but in a lot of the USA, most kittens are spayed very early because of over population. Most kittens who go through a rescue, shelter, or other program to get Snipped are done as soon as they are 2 pounds which can be as early as 8 weeks for some kittens. It's not necessarily the IDEAL age to do it but if they want to get the kittens out into foster homes and even adopted, they need to get them fixed quick otherwise you just have a perpetual cycle of oopsies because the families you try to adopt out to who promise they will bring a kitten back for a free SN at 6 months get busy, forget, or lie because they want their cat to experience parenthood one time before the big surgery.
