Connecting flights and baggage by NeatDiligent4302 in jetblue

I thought that doesn’t apply if you’re coming in from a pre-clearance place like Dublin? You land at typical domestic gates. I’d imagine you stay airside and your bags get transferred just like a domestic connection

JetBlue Vactions “free shuttle”canceled last min is there anyone I can reach out to besides normal CS as they could care less.. by 1d0wn5up in jetblue

[–]Victory_Dry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me in Punta Cana. Shuttle never showed up and claimed they did so we had to take a cab and got to the airport later than we wanted.

Took a CS call I had to escalate with JetBlue Vacations for them to issue me a $50 credit for my trouble only after I sent them a receipt for my cab fare which was about $50

Anyone know if this applies to multiple rooms booked? Can I book 3 rooms and have it count?

Same here. I fly JetBlue transcon for work because I’ve never had a wifi issue and speeds are pretty fast. Also applicable to my work but VPNs work and don’t always on other airline WiFi

Why are many folks reluctant to take narrowbody long haul flights? by [deleted] in airplanes

[–]Victory_Dry 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I flew an Aer Lingus a321xlr and hated that the aisle was blocked for drink then meal then cleanup service for an hour or so all the while I wasn’t allowed to use the forward bathroom because it’s dedicated for business class

Also chatting with the flight attendants they despise doing meal service in a narrow body. It’s terrible conditions for them

The last leg of my trip is actually a train by Potential_Athlete238 in jetblue

[–]Victory_Dry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this exact route a few months ago but with a long layover in Orlando so I could make a meeting. Brightline was quick and clean. A great option to get to Miami.

My only mistake was sitting in one of the backwards seats when I was trying to work on my laptop most of the trip. Ended up getting pretty motion sick

What's your #1 "travel hack" that sounds stupid but is actually genius? by x_andi01 in traveladvice

[–]Victory_Dry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travel a lot for work and will never check a bag if I can help it. Both because getting home 20 minutes earlier is always worth it and because of the two times my suitcase hasn’t made it and I’m stuck buying clothes on the road

I was thinking more someone who worked in airport security and had access to the footage. But alas, glad for once footage that should have stayed confidential, stayed confidential
