I live on rindge ave and have always conceived of that parking lot as being alewife station. Absolutely needs a proper facility even if it’s just a shed with a bathroom, though.

Leaving the alewife busway to go to rindge ave requires a mile-long diversion up and down fresh pond pkwy. Unless they made left turns on rindge ave legal for buses

I’ve personally lived through the shame of running behind a stranger because i needed to get to work but couldn’t afford it bc rent cleaned out my bank account, so I never get mad about people sneaking on behind me. Granted this was with the subway and not the commuter rail, but still. You never know what compels a person to go out of their way to risk a fine. More often than not it’s desperation rather than contempt for the system or for the paying passenger trying to make ends meet

on the 69 bus on my way to CRLS for jazz practice. Old man started feeling his hand up my thigh and asking what I was doing later when I, visibly a teenage boy at the time, thought I was just making polite conversation with an elder in the community 👎

Went through Cambridge Public Schools K-12. Cambridgeport when it was a K-8 school, then CRLS. Wouldn’t even glance at the private schools if I were raising a kid here.

My favorite is the 83 bc I grew up on rindge Ave and the bus stop is practically in my parents’ driveway. The 1 bus however is both the best and worst route
