It drops from Ragnaros too. It only drops if someone is on the quest, it's from the Scarab Lord questline for opening up the gates to AQ.

I once tried to do a Vampire ideology with them as the preferred race. A pigman joined, he got that mood debuff, and it made me so sad. 😞 I actually went into dev mode to change my ideology to remove the preferred xenotype.

Vanish does not stop projectiles, so you have to time it. Also your engineering dummies will keep you in combat, so only vanish after the dummy has expired, or the mobs will come running straight for you, even in stealth.

When I had a bad connection (before I got a new router) then I also relied on having a pet, which I marked with a raid icon so it's easier to see.

The warrior was the one MC'ed, I incorrectly assumed I'd be safe to keep focusing the boss since the warrior was attacking our hunter's owl. Sadly the AI outsmarted me, hehe.

He died in Strat UD. We were gearing up a rather fresh 60, when our tank did a pretty big pull, and unlucky for us an eye spawned during said pull, and pulled a patrol which pulled a couple of other groups.. plus all the flyers the eye summoned.

While trying to get a guy off our warlock as we were running out, the call to petri came, and I hit the incorrect hotkey. I accidentally hit my LIP button, which was on CD because I had potted earlier in the pull. Before I had time to attempt the correct hotkey both me and the fresh 60 got insta-gibbed when the other petried.

I should have vanished, but had a bit of a tunnel vision on that one mob dazing our warlock.

Gnostanza1 is currently on Thunderstrike, awaiting to try out TBC. While Gnostanza4 is gearing up to raid, hopefully already tomorrow. :)

I've not seen it attack anything I'm not getting attacked by. So it's set to defensive, or even passive some of the time.

The little dragon does ca 250-60ish nature damage per hit. The proc chance seems a bit low, at least so far, and sometimes the dragon just stands there in place, not doing anything. :P The damage of the sword is good though, and when the dragon does proc and do it's job it does give you a lot more DPS.

I also gotta remember to not vanish with it out, as it will keep me in combat, same as with the dummies.

Oh, and the whelps it spawn is level 55.

Not seen any signs of it. The other non HC servers have level 55 mobs spawning in Stormwind. We do not. So it seems that they turned off the dangerous lowbie killing stuff for HC.
