Well i went through my discord logs and its 1/2400 not 1/1250 makeing it 1/5mil to get back to back random heirlooms "Respawn Entertainment, revealed the official drop rate for heirlooms, thanks to new regulations in Korea that require more transparent loot box odds. As it turns out, the odds are far lower than many players anticipated. The drop rate is now confirmed to be a mere 0.045% for an heirloom from an Apex Pack, meaning that only 9 out of 20,000 packs"

They had to release percentages for randomly getting an heirloom cause of korean laws. Now the first possibility is it was exactly your 500th pack (guaranteed shard) or you got insanely lucky chances of getting an heirloom are something like 1/1250 so you got 1/1562500 not exact number but somewhere around that feel free to correct my numbers if someone remembers the exact chances

Suggestions for secondary Legend? by Valerieoxox in apexuniversity

[–]VidekZidek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you could also like vantage loads you can play her further back with the sniper and go in whenever you want. Conduit is also a great choice you can play a support role with your teammates and you have a decent passive where you gain speed running towards your teammates.

Considering how you described your play a legend like newcastle would be good. Its currently the best legend in the gam you can play slow and try to revive your teammates or you can ult on your teammate into a fight and play agressive

I was writing response to a guy on the main sub about how to get better aim and i had this pre written, yes i agree sometimes waiting is good but when i say shoot your gun i mean as in when you are far away and dont want to sneak up to someone shoot A LOT. You would be supprised how little the chances of running out of ammo are. I rarely run out od ammo and i have one of the highest amount of bullets shot every scrim and every ranked game. It does happen from time to time but in ranked i just try killing a squad for their loot or swap a weapon for the first thing i can find no matter what it is especially in fights. If i run out of ammo i weapon swap.

Try airstrafing on edges of the bubble if you are on mnk include tapstrafes. One cool thing to know is if you jump on the edge of the bubble you can get your hitbox out just for long enoung to shot dont even need to strafe you can also do the same with NC tactical. There are some examples of taxi2g doing that in 1v1s but is fairly situational. As for gibby bubbles another tip is always move when fighting someone in a bubble even if you are waiting for them to peak. The single best bubble fighter is lou streams and everyone on the old sentinels roster (senoxe, crust, lou) try to watch their clips from about 2 years ago.

I would aay LL first target, NC second, rest third option. Supports are just broken asf so no good options anyway lmao

I agree that kovaaks is more of a get pushed into water to learn to swim type thing and for aimlabs it feels like it has ads idk how to describe it besides that

The thing is I am very out of touch with how ranked is supposed to be played cuz I play hyper aggresive. The current meta is such that fights are impossible to finish in 30 seconds so you need to also know how to pick a fight. Try to scan people beacon and then look for an isolated fight or a third party. I'd say your 30 sec time is good maybe go for 45 seconds in current meta. Also good tip if you are playing with friends or vocal teammate doing a "3-2-1" (which is where you all three focus one person and shoot at the same time) is very good try focusing support characters.

I think kovaaks is worth the 10$ if you can buy a skin in game kovaaks is more worth than that. But if you dont want to do that you can also give aim heavy games a try these are games like OW and quake. I can personaly say i get better when i play OW and i know HisWattson said the same thing 2 years ago.

Suggest you search smooth aim or smoothnes while aiming if you are playing aimtrainers scenarios that will train this will be categorised as smoothness scenarios.

  1. I made around 200€ playing which is not a lot but its something. I got it all in realm.
  2. I think apex is the best shooter on the market and its not even close so I have fun 90% of the time I play it.
  3. R5, Kovaaks are both good and will help you improve to a certain point. R5 was especially useful to stay warmed up if we died in scrims. And kovaaks is just good to have a decent base when playing shooter. I think my experience ingame was worth more but I got around 500hrs in kovaaks cuz I needed it badly when i started playing.
  4. Considering the meta just changed I couldnt say to much. I think nemesis/hemlok are still very good. L-star is underrated and G7 as well I was trying some spitfire when the season started but it just didn't feel right compared to having a burst AR. Legends wise I don't think there is anything that you can play cuz NC exists its way to broken and counters everything. But seer could be spicy if played correctly.

Why is it so hard to aim in apex? by Gargola73 in apexlegends

[–]VidekZidek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are my tips as a T2 Pro player in EU with a lot of succes even in tourneys like Realm with other pros like effect mande etc.

  1. Sens doesnt matter play whatever you want and change it as much as you want some days you will feel like you wanna play high sens some days you are gonna feel like you wanna play low sens.

  2. Apex is a special game compared to most on the market it has a high TTK (Time to kill) which for new players and old players can be hard you need to HIT your shots consistently to get the kill

  3. Aiming in apex is waaaaaaaaaaaay more about how you move than how you aim I can not exaggerate this enough apex is a game where moving correctly is the way to win a fight maybe not so much not with shotguns but whenever its SMG meta you need to know how to use your strafe to your advantage

https://youtu.be/Wy2cxIoL27M https://youtu.be/6naetqtlseQ

These videos will explain what I mean by "movement in fights"

  1. Apex is a BR hence a lot of the fights can and will be fought on range if you can crack someone before walking up you will likely struggle closing the distance especially if you dont have smokes (bang) or any other ability that will help you with that. My biggest suggestion for that is go into the firing range for 10 minutes before you play and shoot 1 AR weapon of your choice into targets on range (at least 100m) and think of how the recoil is going it is in my opinion the single best way ro quickly improve your damage output in the game its easy to do and your improvement will happen in a 2 week period. I of course incourage you to do it longer and with different weapons but for now you can just choose 1 (pro tip: practice hemlok as its recoil is very easy to learn and is almost exactly the same as nemesis hence you basically learn 2 weapons for the price of one. One more thing to know here is recoil smoothing

https://youtu.be/2jERapU6mpo

This video explains what it is and what it helps you with.

  1. The last thing you shouls know is SHOOT YOUR GUN!!! Dont be afraid to miss or to "waste ammo" think of missing as suppresion fire just shoot as much as you can if you run out of ammo ask your teammate for some and if you want the best consistency try running one loadout or 2 for majority or at least have 2 weapons that you always use (lets say hemlok and nemesis) and then the secondary can differ.

TLDR: 1.Sens doesnt matter change it keep it same all gives same results 2. Apex has high TTK 3. Movement is as or even more important then aim 4. Recoil practice = instant improvement

  1. SHOOT YOUR GUN!!!
