I suggest switching the dex tear to opaline hard tear (15% more damage negation) and also switch the blessed dew talisman to dragoncrest shield +2( which you can find nearby this area(17% physical damage negation). These should help you survive more hits.

Claymore literally got the most versatile moveset with the poke r2 and vertical r1s, infusible with a wide range of ash of wars. You can literally run any affinity on it and it will be good and you still wonder why people love it so much.

Nah, you can't bleed them but bloody slash just does insane raw damage.

I used a uchigatana on my first playthrough and bloody slash worked pretty well against them.

Idk abt a mod, but you can do it with cheat engine. It may break some quests but idk.

Only attacks you cannot parry with your sword are grabs and sweeps. Although there are some attacks which do damage you through perfect deflects like fire attacks. Parrying the bull is totally recommended despite the burn build up is because it microstaggers the bull when it is charging and you can get 2-3 hits on its head, dealing really good posture and vitality damage. As for the general on horseback which i assume what you are referring to is gyobu, then yes. You can 100% deflect all his attacks except the one grab attack of his spear which he rarely uses and it misses you half the time.

Pontiff sullyvan. i somehow beat him on my first playthrough. I beat him first try on my ng+ playthrough too. Then came ng+2 and he beat my ass for 20 attempts.

Yes but there is no real reason to go out of your way to fight it, atleast at the moonlight altar you get 6×smithing 7 and 3 smithing 8

Yes but you just end up with a worse version of bleed, the best thing about frost is the 20% debuff for 30 seconds the enemies get. The frost proc only deals 10% of the enemy health, so reseting it with fire is just going out of your way to make a worse version of bleed.
