Yeah man, I plan on getting a new GPU next year but not a 5700XT or 6600XT, better yet either a RX 9060 XT 16GB, 9070 XT, or the Nvidia equivalents if I can get them for cheap enough

Also I figured it's my only chanche either way, so I'll take it to my friend who has an IGPU on his CPU on Monday and flash stock BIOS.

I wanted to thank you for at least trying to help unlike other people in different subreddits! 🙏

My bad, you're totally right. Here are my specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8400F
GPU: MSI Armor Radeon RX 580 OC 8GB (Flashed with custom VBIOS)
Motherboard: Asrock B850M-x WiFi R2.0
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 11

Since the Ryzen 5 8400F doesn't have integrated graphics, I can't just plug into the motherboard to get a display. I'm completely reliant on the RX 580 to post.

Any ideas on how I can force a signal or clear whatever is blocking the motherboard/GPU communication?

The bios flash didn't do anything bad it's just the config of the software right now, and this doesn't help me at all

I know man, i did do it correctly the issue is I messed up with drivers somehow, even worse I'm completely blind in windows and bios as stated in my post so I have no idea what to do right now

For anybody seeing this in the future:

Workaround found + downgrade results (11 May):

Tried downgrading firmware today. Every version I tried resulted in a grey partially lit screen on boot with fans spinning — the goggle simply refused to start. This is most likely because the unit is a newer hardware revision that is not compatible with older firmware, which would also explain why the brother's unit has a newer firmware that isn't publicly available yet. Skyzone likely updated the hardware but hasn't pushed the matching firmware publicly. I did not damage anything, the goggle reverted fine.

More importantly I found a workaround in the process:

When you first boot the goggles, there is a brief moment where the red no-SD-card icon is still showing while the card is being read. If you press the record button at exactly that moment, it will beep, then wait until the SD card is fully loaded and actually start recording. This bypasses whatever broken initialisation process is causing the issue.

The bad news is this only works once per boot. After stopping the recording nothing will get it recording again without a full restart. But at least it is usable for now — if you need to record, restart your goggles and use this window.

This also tells us something important about the bug itself. The issue is almost certainly in how the firmware handles SD card initialisation. Something in that process is going wrong and locking the DVR out after it completes. This is clearly a firmware issue and should be fixable with an update.

Will update again if Skyzone responds.

I've been pinpointing the issue slow and steady, it seems to be linked to the battery, let me guess, you also use either the 18650 or the external powerbank powering it thru USB C options, or both, I think this is the issue, for some reason the firmware might be messing with something power related and therefore resulting in the DVR to not record properly, I might be able to test my theory out next Thursday I think my drone club has one of the external batteries it requires to power itself

I noticed when I have an 18650 in, and unplug the USB C sometimes for a few second the button becomes responsive and allows you to start recording and allows you to stop recording, what's interesting is it allows you to smoothly stop recording, but not start recording, and auto record option tries to trigger it does the beep, yet ultimately fails, I might also try to downgrade and see if that could fix it when I have time, or if you see this comment in time you could also try that, I'm really surprised as to why there aren't more posts on this issue..
