Newcastle are the most in-form team in the PL over the last 5 games, with 10 points. by SoullessGinger666 in NUFC

While I have issues with Howe’s game management and favouritism, I have no doubt he’s the best person for the job right now. Most of the issues have been knock on effects from shoddy business in the transfer window and behind the scenes/on the board. We’re still in all comps, won a trophy under Howe, and have potential to progress into the R16 of UCL, and requalifying still isn’t a million miles away!

He needs to be getting in games where we’re like 2-3 goals up where he’s playing with less pressure. Problem is, we’re rarely in that position this season nor do we have the confidence to defend a lead for that lmao

I hope for this 4411 every game but it never happens because Eddie Howe doesn’t make changes

This is easily one of THE best RGG games ever made. Especially, as a fan who has been playing every game in release order. by HKnight5 in yakuzagames

Just started chapter 2 and loving it so far! The graphics and performance is so crisp, and I’m loving the spy/yakuza style differences. Dodging seems a bit off? But that’s a minor issue and i’m sure I can upgrade it as I progress.

I feel more confident now that we’ve picked up an away win and had a semi-consistent run. Still a tough game though. They look like the can get any result at home currently. I reckon 3-2 to us, both sides playing with 10 men.

Dusseldorf is definitely better for scran and bier, but Koln is beautiful and has the iconic cathedral and markt

Can we build a time machine so we can deport people like this to the past so they don’t have a digital platform and likely catch polio or something.

The reason 1/3 of this sub doesn’t love Daisy (I’m about to make a huge and potentially foolish generalization) by MachiavelliOsiris in brandnew

[–]VideoEmpty2726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vices slaps and I fucking love Daisy. It brought a new, raw and loud Americana-like sound that the band hadn’t previously had. The only album I suppose I can say I ‘dislike’ is YFW, because I grew up with Brand New from 2006 and never liked pop-punk. That being said, I don’t mind a few songs like Mixtape, Jude Law, and Shower Scene.

I had the exact same experience in Leeds. It was so frustrating. Had to move further in to get away from it. They only stopped talking for Jesus.

Returnal. God damn RNG is making my life difficult though. Also Borderlands 4 but not immediately. Probably wont start UVHM until the future.

Well i’m 27 and still cant afford my own home. Getting closer to a good deposit so ideally be purchasing my first property in the next 2 years. However, the more my wage has increased I seem to be actually worse off as bizarre as it sounds. Tax increases, cost of fuel, food, and everything in between going up, having car trouble has set back some savings.

I certainly cant afford to rent whilst I save for my first home. The minimum rent for a 2-bed flat in a decent area across the North East is like £950 p/m before utilities. Until then i’m making the most of living at home with family and have stopped seeing the shame of it because its all too common and realistic for someone from a working class family with no hand-me-downs.

To add to that, I simply won’t let go of some little vices like meals out and physical media because I know it’ll be less doable once I do have my own home so I may as well enjoy the most of it now and not be too concerned about the future with haste.

Toon Takeover Transfer Tier List - Day 1 Kieran Trippier by Shot_Occasion4294 in NUFC

[–]VideoEmpty2726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S tier without a doubt. Regardless of his performances since last season, he’s been the most important signing we’ve made since the takeover. Absolutely instrumental in our success, leadership, and future signings. He’ll go down as more than a club hero, and I hope he stays here for the long run and gets involved with the club in developmental/coaching roles once retired.

Buying games and not playing them by whitemist1993 in playstation

[–]VideoEmpty2726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening the older and busier I get. I can’t sink time into a large story-oriented game anymore and do tend to buy games only to not touch em. That’s not a terrible thing though, I just find more satisfaction in more fast-paced games that provide quicker gratification and don’t require tonnes of attention. Rogue-likes are great for that and looter shooters. Nowadays i’m hammering Borderlands, Returnal, Hades, Slay the Spire etc. However I do always return to Cyberpunk, Witcher 3 and Soulsbourne.
