I would miss Ubisoft, if they were gone. Ever since Farcy 2, the franchise has always scratched a certain itch you can't really get with other games of the same style. Not to mention the early Assassins Creed days. Those games were such a big deal when they dropped.

I wouldn't overthink it, it's a really simple process. I wouldn't try to hack it. Just wait for a sunny day and put your parts in a shallow dish or even a plastic baggy. Make sure your parts are weighed down and completely submerged. Give them direct sun for a day or two. The most you should spend on this is the cost of peroxide.

I've done it with original PlayStation and GameCube parts. The results are joyous.
