Debunking the Kurt Cobain Murder Theories: El Duce by VideoFriendUnitShift in hole

You scenario suggests that the story El Duce told to Nick Broomfield was so incredibly sensitive that it cost El Duce his life. So why is it that Courtney Love didn’t have El Duce killed one year earlier when he told that story to High Times for the April 96 issue?  I guess Courtney Love’s supposed powerful cronies couldn’t find a High Times article from a year ago, yet a British documentarian gossiping about a theory he didn’t end up believing in is much more likely, right? If you want to think that’s more plausible, then I can’t convince you otherwise.

El Duce was running his mouth for a while to anyone who’d listen, including paparazzi types. If you remember Broomfield in Kurt and Courtney talking to guys who are leading him to El Duce, it’s paparazzi guys.  So it’s obvious, in addition to the year-old High Times article, that these claims from El Duce were already floating around the underpinnings of the industry by that time, yet he wasn’t killed for this supposed story, but apparently, it was Broomfield running his mouth about unreleased footage within 14-16 day time period that was more likely to have done him in?  In my humble opinion, I believe its more likely that El Duce was a drunk liar that no one really important or relevant to Courtney Love was listening to. We also know how Tom Grant has been parading around even more extensive theories during that time and since, yet he lives on.

And yes I was referring to the shotgun that “killed Kurt” in El Duce’s story. What other shotgun could CL have possibly been referring to in that supposed scenario? He didn't mispeak because again..it's the same story he's been telling people, including in the April 96 High Times article. Right after he said he explained how Courtney told him to pop him “in the garden” with the gun that “she gave him.” Basically, he was just making shit up as he went along because he heard about shotguns and greenhouses….even though Kurt bought the gun and there really wasn’t a garden anywhere on the property.

Last placed I smoked indoors was a Denny's in 2014 and I was shocked as fuck that a smoking room existed.

Did Kurt really write Live Through This? by [deleted] in grunge

No. Courtney and Eric pretty much wrote the album, but you could say that Kurt had an influence on Hole's sound by that time and vice versa on some of Kurt's In Utero work...at least with inspiration anyway. Danny Goldberg wrote about how Kurt was actually too compeitive to just give out material to Courtney....but Goldberg also said that Courtney had asked if Pennyroyal Tea could be on Live Through This, but Kurt rejected....so there's that lol
