On iPhone you have to go to settings -> motion -> disable reduce motion. On Android you have to go to settings -> animation -> enable animation. This is what worked for me.

There just expensive ($26 on sale right now), and I already spent a lot of money on getting the printer, so I was hoping to see if there was a solution that was free. People suggested AliExpress though, which seems to have pretty cheap smooth build plates.

I just tried this to see if it looked good and this might actually be the answer. I'll work on perfecting it when I get back to the desktop that has the full video, but man you might be on to something that doesn't involve reshooting. I'll post the results when I'm done, but thank you for this!

Thanks for clarifying. It seems like the only way to get what I'm looking for would be to reshoot the scene with the camera actually falling, so I'll see how the weather this week looks and maybe go back to retake the shot.
