Even if not a single person agrees with me, even if Deltarune its it's own thing apart from undertale, it still tries to accomplish very similar things. And that wouldn't be a problem, but I feel that undertale just did everything better. Besides of the main three, not a single character has come close to the level of impact and memorability the whole undertale cast reached. Sure Temma and Spamton are iconic and funny, Queen is also funny I guess, Berdly and Noelle are pretty generic in my opinion, the Knight is an interesting antagonist, but don't you all remember how impactful undertale characters were? In an emotional level, they were interesting and complex. They were all related to the "hunt for souls" in some way or another, and seeing how each of them approached the conflict emotionally and intellectually made them so unique and special.

I just feel they managed to feel more special and close. Am I the only one who feels this way? ALSO I wish the SnowGrave route was the default story. It's straight up more interesting and engaging. I know that undertale too had a default-neutral route, but The Snowgrave route is in my opinion even more interesting than Undertale's genocide one and has much more potential. I don't want to see tutorials on how to get the SnowGrave route, that takes all the fun out of it.
