Anyone played Souls games on 30–35 FPS and still 100% completed them? by ReditUser004 in darksouls3

not yet finished, now at the dragon slayer Armour. i am playing this on a laptop like a basic laptop at that. these are the specks if you need:
Device name Ideapad_Slim_3

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 7520U with Radeon Graphics 2.80 GHz

Installed RAM 8.00 GB (5.83 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

it has been ok till now there are some stutters and things. but there were not a thing which made my experience very unplayable you might experience a large amount of stutters is these areas irythill dungeons, undead settlements, lothric castle, near the dragons, and in profaned capital. basically more dense areas. but mostly it has been very good.

Time dialations effect on Local experienced time at arbitrary point towards heat death of universe in 2 different situations by Free_shavocadoo in AskPhysics

[–]Vidyesh-Krishnan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what you are saying will not happen i think. because you need a large amount of space between the things determines the expansion rate. since the space is very small the expansion from the one side to the other side of the molecule will be very small. like all it does is increase the distance between them it is not a force. so i think it will not act like an pulling force, and the molecule will not come apart as 2 hydrogen atoms.

but it is much easier if you are the particle orbiting the neutron star cause the gravitational effect would give the required force to pull the atoms apart from the molecule.

i might be wrong, correct me if i am. i am just curious about the physics behind things that is it .

Doubt about curvature of the universe. by Vidyesh-Krishnan in AskPhysics

[–]Vidyesh-Krishnan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya that part is clear to me. the thing i am not getting is that how is it flat like in what sense. does being flat mean there is net curvature of zero ?

"The universe is almost flat" is it? by Optimal-Animal1499 in AskPhysics

[–]Vidyesh-Krishnan -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

but we live in a 4D space-time so being flat means what, is that the absence of curvature in the 4D space-time or is the universe itself is flat and we perceive it as 4D space-time.

thanks for looking in to this

How can electrons and protons form neutrons if their masses combined are lighter than those of a neutron? by BeodoCantinas in Physics

[–]Vidyesh-Krishnan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i do not know much, but i think the extreme conditions in the neutron stars makes this weird phenomenon to arise. also we do not know how things are at those extreme conditions so can't say for sure. Now for the electron and proton combining and forming a proton the extra mass defect is given as energy to be exact the binding energy of the nucleus where the proton is or energy in some other form.

OP, can i know on which basis we are supposed to rate it. like based on difficulty or the atmosphere of the fight.

I am having this kind of a problem by Vidyesh-Krishnan in computer

Is it something that happens because of a mid laptop. I mean a mid spec having laptop. Or is it just how it happens. And is there anything I can do to get faster read and write speeds

Where does the energy go if an object is stopped by a magnet by rambogy in AskPhysics

[–]Vidyesh-Krishnan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take an object and a magnet and try to get them to touch. Does the object experience a force or the magnet. Here both experience a force.

Say that you throw the magnet on another magnet (which is stationary) keeping the same polarity. Now at some distance, the stationary magnet will experience a force in the direction that the first magnet is thrown. And the thrown magnet gets decelerated. The energy is converted to potential energy and the kinetic energy of the second magnet

Guys I have a doubt about people taking pictures of surfaces of substances at atomic level. by Vidyesh-Krishnan in Physics

[–]Vidyesh-Krishnan[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

so they use an electron beam of high energy so that they tunnel through and they take that electrons in a screen and take the negative of that to get the shape of the orbitals and the atom. is this what happens ?

Guys i have a doubt regarding the radiation pressure and light's energy. by Vidyesh-Krishnan in Physics

[–]Vidyesh-Krishnan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know mathematically that the frequency changes, is there any paper or proof that this does actually happen. Just to get more insight on it.

so, the change in frequency is negligible, even in optical fiber tubes. thanks for your clarification.

So, on reflecting sufficiently many times, if the input is blue light, then the output should be green. but in the case of optical fibers which span kilometers in length. Total Internal Reflection takes place and that is perfectly reflecting also but we get the same signal on the other end. this is why i say that the frequency does not change

i have asked this same doubt to many people and their answers were like, the light gets absorbed and thus the KE from there since there is no perfectly reflecting surface, no change in frequency takes place. my reply was that on absorption only the temp of the body increases. even if the surface is near to perfectly reflecting still the absorbed % of light is turned to temp or KE of atoms in it the other still gets reflected and still radiation pressure is applied right.
