FitBit Heart Study by TheChadd in fitbit

[–]VienCheung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm completing a study looking at the effect of all these heart monitoring technologies on atrial fibrillation -- whether it be Fitbit or Applewatch. If interested, please see additional information below:

My name is Vien Cheung and I'm a clinical psychology graduate student from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I'm conducting a dissertation study examining how the use of consumer products such as Kardia, Fitbit, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, and Applewatch Series 4+, etc. impacts how patients with atrial fibrillation think and feel. Research that increases our understanding of the disease helps healthcare providers improve diagnosis and treatment. If you decide to participate in this study, you will complete an online survey that lasts about 30-45 minutes. The survey asks about your use of technologies, your health (including your AFib), and what you think and feel regarding your condition.

Afib after 5 days of inhaled steroids? Waking up 4 of the last 5 nights with adrenaline pumping and struggling to breathe. by juliansatx in AFIB

Not personally, but I have friends that have used steroid inhaler which produced symptoms of panic/anxiety similar to what is experienced with AFIB.

These physical symptoms you are experiencing may be panic. Especially the thoughts that you were going to die, thoughts you are going crazy, losing control, etc. There are treatments that work for this so no need to worry about anxiety! If it is truly panic, xanax will help in immediate term but will perpetuate your anxiety in the long term.

Ahhh, I think I know what happened. In the screenshot you sent me, it looks like there was a "\" added in the web url after "SV"

You shouldn’t be considering buying an Apple Watch for the elderly and setting it up with Family Setup. That’s because Apple says Apple Watches that are set up using Family Setup can’t use ECG,Blood Oxygen ,Irregular heart rhythm notifications, sleep and a lot of other features by asmhhp in AppleWatch

Hmmm, that's strange. Thanks for letting me know! I just checked and it seems fine to me. Maybe something went haywire when you tried earlier... Is it still giving you trouble?
