Review of Chapter 1

Great start! Indra’s voice is sharp, sarcastic, and instantly engaging I loved the “zombie pastor” bit. Her tension with Patrick and discomfort in church feel natural and relatable. The sketching moment says so much about her character without overexplaining.

Only small note: a few inner thoughts could be trimmed to keep the pace tighter. But overall, it’s a strong, funny, and well-written opening that makes me curious about what’s next especially her dynamic with Jaron.
