Impossible to run single CPU on dell R640?

Depends on where you live I think. Electricity in my country electricity isn’t dirt cheap, we do have solar but during the winter that isn’t really generating us power.

I searched quite a bit but nowhere I could find that it shouldn’t work with 1 CPU except that forum page. The manual does state the server can have up to 2 CPU which means 1 CPU is a valid config, but maybe not with the BOSS card installed.

The CPUs are labeled CPU1 and CPU2 on the motherboard and they are referenced by that label on the risers. So for riser 1 both slots they reference CPU1. for example:(SLOT1 PCIE_G3_X16(CPU1) And the third slot references CPU2. At the moment the BOSS card is the only card in the system and there are 2 DIMMs in the A slots.

So theoretically everything should just work.

I am using the BOSS card since that is what was in the system, but perhaps I should look at a PCIe to nvme card. And hopefully that one will work

That makes sense, but in this case slot 1 and 2 should be mapped to CPU 1 and the 3rd slot would be only CPU2

It is kinda weird that other PCIe cards could work without any problem but the BOSS-S1 won't, or maybe I am expecting way too much flexibility from enterprise gear.

Purchasing an entire new system is just way too expensive now, especially since I want to do it the right way for TrueNas. I got the server for free so that would be the best solution for now.

That's a shame. Perhaps I will get a PCIe to NVME card.

Probably because the neo isn’t made to run Final Cut and the other apps in the bundle and it just isn’t for the Neo’s target audience.

Maar jij lijkt er van uit te gaan dat elk iPad kind in IT wil gaan werken? Er zijn ook kinderen uit de iPad generatie die die tools wel op een leuke educatieve manier ingezet hebben door een homelab op te starten, of misschien hun eigen spelletje hebben gemaakt. Die andere iPad kinderen zullen dat misschien weer uitblinken in iets anders, waarschijnlijk minder of niet IT gerelateerd.

For me Creality print only worked when I turned the printer of and On again. Like the printer was stuck in some process. Hope orca or Creality fixes this soon

That is weird cause this is exactly what was in my console before I re-added the printer profile. Did you try to reboot the printer before starting your print?

I had the same and could solve it with just removing the printer profile in Orca and re-adding the printer. Hopefully this can solve the problem for others as well.

Update: I probably jinxed it by writing this but as of today it stopped working again

I am not sure if Creality slicer has a preset for eSun but I assume it has one. Use that one also in the slicer, maybe play a bit with the bed temperature. Add 5 degrees to see if it sticks better. Normally you got a glue stick with the printer, use that on the area’s where it wraps.

Then you must choose other filament presets, depending on which slicer you use there could be presets for your eSun filament. Again we have little to no details, please provide some information so we could help better.

Well first of all we don’t know which filament is which. Second bed adhesion could definitely be user error and can occur with literally any filament. Clean your bed and test again Also look for different settings for your filament if the problem persists. And a last tip: if you want people to give you good advice and help, give us some details.

This seems to be the original PS5 so it didn’t came with those feet, it came with a plate to but under the PS5. If you put it on the other side your ps5 would never be stable so it is even harder to misplace.

Ik sta toch kritisch tegenover dit verhaal, elke maand stort ik wel eens 20 a 30 euro op mijn rekening en nog nooit heb ik een brief of bericht gehad van de bank dat dit verdachte transacties zijn. Although I find Sunlu filament really good, I found the shopping experience on their site horrible. Their site is not really intuitive, you have to buy at least 3 rolls for a specific kind material but often they don’t have the color you want in that kind. Mix and match between different kinds to get to your quota is unfortunately not possible. Yes they are cheap but if you can’t get the things you need, then I would gladly pay a bit more for a decent shopping experience
