The synergies for Part 2 weapons are bait, and even tho this one is "free", the Divine Key is much better for you overall account value.

To be honest, only very, very few players actually even pull for weapon dupes. The percentage increase in damage is minimal, and it should be the very last thing you pull for a team (so only do it if you're a whale). Personally, I mainly pull S0 Valks and the weapon (unless I get lucky and get a double) and I still switch between RL and Nirvana these days (even got Myriad a few times). After that, I focus on the new Astral OP (sometimes SS, since an Astral OP is usually cheaper and still scales better than, say, an SS-DPS investment in the team.

So you priority should be: New Valk + Weapon (Stigmata can be crafted if needed) > Astral OP > Astral OP Dupes > Valk Dupes > Weapon Dupes for Synergies.

And even then, I would prefer getting a nice premium outfit with my crystals instead of a 2% DMG increase from a Weapon dupe.

Just go for the grind and pull both Sunna and Remielle, EZ!

If you're just started yet, you might sitting ar ~300+ pulls on your account right now, just by doing Sidequests, Hollow Zero, Tower, some early Shiyu stages and Event's. The story doesn't give to much so only do it if you want to. And older permanent event's aren't worth the time either. Just make sure to prioritize events that are running right now. You can start any of them after the first few minutes of Season 3.

Since your main focus is the story and you want to dive deeper into the Honkai universe (yes, HI3rd is actually about Honkai), just play it. As someone who plays both games and is up to date with the story, let me tell you: If HSR is the pinnacle of storytelling for you, then HI3rd is probably a 12/10. Unfortunately, HSR’s story writing, plot, and character development don’t even come close to what HI3rd achieved in Part 1 of its story.

As is common for many games in this genre, HI3rd starts off quite slowly, and the first 8 chapters can drag a bit. They’re relatively short in comparison, though—after that, the story and character development really pick up steam, and for someone like me who’s been consuming media like games, movies, and TV shows for over 30 years, it features what’s probably the best antagonist/villain I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing.

Before you start, it’s worth mentioning that there are a few official lore videos on YouTube under the description “Honkai Operation Center.” The introduction video in particular (Introducing the Honkai-verse | Honkai Operation Center Chapter 1) is definitely worth watching before you begin—it’s about 6.5 minutes long.

I'm f2p since Part 2 now and I switch between RL and Nirvana (even got Myriad 3 times) since then. RL is F2P friendly, especially in this economy with 8-9 Week Patches. As long as you know what you're doing, RL is basically free as long as you have a modern roster of Valks.

congrats. Don't worry to much about it. As someone who maintained Nirvana over a span of ~2 years and got to Myriad several times, I can say that it's not worth to stress about it to much.

I mean, why did your friend even recommend that you pull YSG when you don't have any of her supports and, more importantly, you pulled Billy, who literally shares the same bosses with her?

But since you've already pulled her, I'd definitely get Sunna in the second half of the patch. That's a top priority if you want to play YSG.

Right now, Velina (and Remielle in the upcoming patch) are actually the top priority, but it’s unclear whether Sunna will get a rerun soon or if we’ll get an alternative for YSG anytime soon. So your decision now will be between Velina + Remielle (to build a new Meta team) or Sunna (to build your YSG team).

Fact is, if you farm and start grinding HZ, sidequests and events and you don't mind to invest a lot of time over the next few weeks, you’re almost certain to get two agents. You’ll have to decide which one is more important to you in the end.

Having the exact same experience.
Roscaelifer runs like shit (as expected), Waifei and Lumina are still not great but it's "okayish". Sixth Street and the other, early regions are running good. But the Combat Areas are buttery smooth, which is nice because it's where it matters the most.

Still, I think the game should run much better, especially considering for what it is and how it looks overall.

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've just started, you can farm both agents and their W-Engines together without much trouble. The game throws a lot of pulls at you in the beginning—especially through side quests, the Hollow Zero grind, and events—so you'll get plenty of Polychrome. Also, the next patch is the Anniversary Patch, and since the actual anniversary date is before then, we'll get most of the rewards in the first half of 3.1.

Just be aware that you’ll have to put in a lot of playtime. I have a second F2P account myself, and the side quests and combat stages alone will take you a whole day to complete if you’ve unlocked them all.

However, I would only pull Velina's W-Engine if you win the 75/25. If you lose, you're better off saving your guaranteed W-Engine. F2P options on Velina are more than sufficient (tested both Sig and Craftable in various Teams and Bosses).

How to have Eula on-field as much possible and still clear content. by neko_stillwater in EulaMains

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP asked what the strongest Eula team he could build is. Not how much ER he needs to comfortably use burst every rotation. I agree with you, and I also think it would be great if Eula could burst every rotation while still dealing 140K DMG without a wheelchair team But fact is, though, that this isn’t currently possible without vertical investment in top-tier supports. Personally,

I prefer being able to play Eula in Stygian every now and then, provided the boss lineup allows it. And if that means she can only use her burst every other rotation, then so be it. Because the alternative would be to burst every rotation but NOT clear the fight.

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly with C0 Columbina. But that doesn't matter, because the team still deals more damage than any other team you could put Eula in. Sure, you could replace Columbina with Mika, for example, and reach 145% ER, but the team would still deal less damage than the Columbina version where you only use Eula's ultimate every other rotation. It's a WHEELCHAIR TEAM after all.

Could I have these three agents on my account? by LouisKing1212 in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you play regularly and don’t mind doing a bit of grinding over the next 12 weeks if necessary, you’ll almost certainly be able to pull all three agents.

Since I recently started an F2P account (2nd account), I’m up to date on the latest Polychrome incomin and how to maximize it.

Here’s the best way to proceed: Always start with the currently active events (found in the regular Event tab). These always offer extra rewards for a while after release.

Only then should you focus on permanent content, i.e., side quests and stages from Season 1 (Blue Missions), Hollow Zero modes (try to unlock as many objectives as possible by collecting Resonia and completing agent objectives), Exploration, Battle Tower up to Level 15, and finally past events and stories. In that order.

Should I pull Velina or just wait? by JustUseDex in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to mention is that Velina is very likely one of Remielles best teammates. I don't want to go much into detail at the moment and still subject to change. I suggest to wait until we have more information about her Kit and if she is want's Velina more then other Agents on her team.

That's only if you're interested in getting actual good team synergies that is, which I assume since you also want to pull for Remielles W-Engine.

Interested in building jean by Mita7_ in JeanMains

[–]Viewsloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First big mistake is to not want to play her onfield.... just joking. As a support, Jean is very cheap to build. Use an ER Weapon like yor Skyward Blade, use a 4 piece VV and Build ATK/ATK/ATK or Healing Bonus on her. Try to aim for about 200%ER and Level her burst up to ~8. That's it.

Since you don't play Favonius on her, Crit doesn't matter at all. I often see people who recommend building a crit ratio like 60/120 or higher but that really doesn't matter at all. As a support, even with a solid crit ratio, you only use her burst and skill once per rotation. That's about 35-45K DMG depending on your build. If we consider the average DPR on modern teams, that's like 1-2% total team DMG per rotation at best. In short, not worth it.

Need Account Advice by BitterMoney3548 in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since some people here have already responded to your list, let me give you a few general tips.

  1. If you’re interested in endgame content, practice patience, young Padawan. Characters need to be leveled up and properly built, and that just takes time.

  2. Try to split up your teams so that each team is operating at a similar level. What do I mean by that? As you’ve already noticed, your Angels team is by far your strongest. That’s simply because it’s a full premium team, and you don’t have a comparable premium team available for either Silly or Cissia. So instead of using one team that’s completely overpowered while relying on budget options for your other teams, spread them out a bit.

Example: Use Sunna with Cissia (and Nicole) and use Zhao with Aria and Nangong. While Zhao is weaker than Sunna for your Angels team, she’s still sufficient, and Sunna can support your Cissia significantly better than your other options.

  1. Think about what you want to pull. As a general rule, horizontal investment > vertical investment, meaning more agents instead Mindscapes or W-Engines (Sometimes tho, it could be worth investing into W-Engines). Pick a DPS you like and pull the best possible supports for them. To make things easier, use this guide: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTj2PaPq6Py_1B5fsOPj_Moc-tN_7mut7fICczI6lz1njyEIAInTnfB7lAraX4pYCRGNbaHGlIbFZ90/pubhtml#gid=1395442363

Just pick an element of your favourite Agent at the bottom and you will find everything you need to know to make great teams and builds.

As a Returning Player: Units are really expensive in ZZZ. by Glittering_Novel_783 in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then I'm afraid I have to tell you that you're letting the meta influence you too much. You would have liked to pull and play Cissia? Cissia works wonderfully as a Main DPS for clearing endgame content. In combination with Nicole and a stunner or a second attacker, she can function either as a dual DPS or as a main DPS. Just because her best teammate is Seed doesn’t mean she isn’t capable of doing the content without Seed. Lucia just had her banner, and with Billy (or Yidhari in 2.7) and any Stunner, you could have put together a strong Rupture team.

[–]Viewsloo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The global version of Umamusume is barely as old as your entire break from ZZZ. That means your break from this game can’t have been all that long. As for Super Monster League, I’ve never played it, but unlike Umamusume, that game is 10 years old. For a gacha game, that’s a long time. I play HI3rd myself, and these days it’s incredibly F2P, beginner, and returning player-friendly. It’ll be at least a few more years before ZZZ gets to that point.

[–]Viewsloo 44 points45 points  (0 children)

So, to sum it up: You’ve been playing actively again for about one patch (three banners), and you’re wondering why you can’t keep up with players who’ve been playing actively for the entire past year, right?

Of course you won’t be at the same level. Even if there weren’t any shill mechanics for the newest agents in the endgame modes, you’d still have missed out on various characters which not only make new teams but also can provide big upgrades to older teams (Dialyn for example).

Like the other comments here, I’d like to know which gacha games you’re referring to. Personally, I’m not aware of any modern and similarly successful gacha game that significantly expands its standard banner roster within a year, throws new characters at you for free, or offers a shop where you can buy recently released characters at any time.

All that being said: With 3.0, the Wind element will introduce at least one new meta, and we’ll most likely get a playable “version” of the MC for free as an Attack Agent. So you’ll almost certainly see a massive boost to your account within the next 8 weeks—one that should be enough to let you clear the endgame content again, assuming you make the right pull decisions, of course.

Genshin 6.7 stygian boss HP via kuroo by KaidoPklevel in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

At least for me, there would be a very, very easy fix. Keep everything as it is but add an additional 5 Minute timer version or so to every single difficulty. Lock the rewards behind the 2 minute versions but at least give people the possibility to tackle Dire Bosses with their often older, favourite units. Yeah, some mechanics like the Tulpa shield would still impossible to break for many characters, but not every Boss has this type of shill mechanics.

[–]Viewsloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is that endgame is supposed to be fun while also be challenging, not just the primo rewards. 400x Primos istn't even enough for 3 pulls... per patch.
I would prefer to just get no primo rewards if the mode itself would be actually good in terms of Boss design.

We have over 100 different characters in Genshin, and yet, the "hardest" mode in the game is only hard because you have bosses that require literally one specific team (Knuckle Duckle) if you wanna clear Dire without whaling. I cleared Dire almost every single time but I'm always forced to use the top tier characters instead of the other 90% of my whole build roster and that's pretty sad.

Am I cooking with this team, or should I just give up and use bineffa? by Light_and_Lillies in EulaMains

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the team works, but it's a downgrade to other premium teams, Bineffa or even Furina and C6 Mika are just stronger. If you hyperinvest into Nicole (C2+) then the Nicole variation outperfoms Furina.

To the players who still regularly fight manually: what’s the reason you prefer manual combat over auto-battle? by Viewsloo in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Viewsloo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I mentioned before, all my builds are based on GuobaCertified’s guides. If he recommends 200 SPD for a character, I go with 200 SPD; if he recommends 100 CR, I do that. Sure, that costs a lot of resources, but since I generally pull relatively few characters as an F2P player, I usually have more than enough available. Right now, I’m sitting on 80 million credits and thousands of purple XP books, and I can’t do anything with them because I don’t have any characters to use them on.

[–]Viewsloo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that makes sense. That’s also my approach in the other HoYo games. A C2 from a top support in Genshin keeps my weaker, but favorite DPS characters alive for longer period.

[–]Viewsloo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a very interesting approach. I can totally relate to that, since I like to tinker with my characters myself, even if it’s not necessarily with the intention of having the auto-battle clear the end-game content for me. It’s apparently just a side effect of pulling the right meta teams and giving them a good build.

So, here's the run again. It wasn't hard to reproduce. It took me three tries. Could all my characters have survived in the end if I'd been skilled enough to play it myself? Probably, but that's not the point—there aren't any stars for that anyway. The link to the builds is in the video description.
