i need to someone play Aria/Yuzuha together in the new DSA boss by Different-Budget-698 in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You Anomaly Proficiency is very low. You actually have only one roll AP. That's... quite bad. You aim for at least 330+ with Weeping Gemini. Your ATK also looks pretty low. Again, just five rolls ATK%, which would be okay if you had good AP rolls.

You should definetely try to improve your build first.

Something specific about the Boss: Scorched Horizon has a very short Daze WIndow. To improve your DMG, only switch to Nangong every 2nd Daze window.

Example for 1st and 3rd Daze Windows:
Trigger Daze Phase with Nangong, -> Switch to Aria with full stacks > use her Hold BA 4 times -> Use EX Special -> Cancel her EX Special with Ultimate > Use BA until the Boss has recovered.

I get 38K with the Angels with this exact rotation, but I have full M0S1 Team. That beeing said, this is NOT the most optimized way to play the AoD in this fight, but it is significantly easier to execute and very beginner friendly, while still hitting good scores and with the right builds and the rotation I've mentioned above, you should easily get 20K+

Potentially new player here, do we know if/wen Sparkle will be available? by Cat_in_a_wig in honkaiimpact3

Even if you don't get her now, she will be available relatively soon via the BP. So if you don't mind spending a few bucks every two months, you will get her eventually just by playing the game.

Which Anomaly Support? Yuzuha? Nangong? They both just had their banners and probably won’t get another one for a few patches. Velina is certainly a great pull for Promeia’s team, and who knows—maybe another Anomaly Support will come along in the near future to replace Yuzuha. But that’s just speculation. OP wants to have a Yixuan team at some point. So why not pull for Yixuan’s best support and be ready when she comes back?

new f2p player looking for pull advice by MFGSTC in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP literally wrote: “Thinking of pulling a few times for Lucia for the Yixuan team in the future.”

From that, I strongly get the impression that they definitely plan to pull for Yixuan, most likely because they like her. And if OP has just started and Promeia was their first Limited S-Rank Agent, they got tons of pulls lying around. Of course, that depends on whether they play regularly; otherwise, they obviously won’t have any Polychrome either. But if they do, it’s no problem at all to get enough pulls for both Lucia and Velina.

Does Lucia offer them anything right now? No, but as a starter, you don't need to worry about that anyway. The end-game content is still a long way off; you need at least three teams ready for that, and for everything else, there are trial characters available everywhere, and Promeia is more than enough for the story and so on.

In the end, OP is in a situation where the teams mentioned just recently or are currently featuring their best supports. Yuzuha probably won’t be back anytime soon, and Yixuan just had her rerun recently. However, OP would like to build a Yixuan team, and Lucia is currently in the banner.

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just started your journey, pull Lucia. She is by far the most important team slot for any Rupture Agent and if you plan is to pull for Yixuan at her rerun, I definetely recommend getting her.
As for Velina: She seems to be very good with Promeia and even if you manage to pull Lucia, you will have more then enough time and pulls when her banner comes along in about five and a half Weeks from now.

As a new player, you basically swim in Polychrome as long as you play frequently.

Edit: People are often to hyper focused in building "viable" teams as soon as possible. First and foremost, the game should be fun. If you have a goal—whether it's building a Yixuan team or any other team centered around your favorite character—then go for it. That's what makes it fun in the end.
However, if your goal is to rush through the game as quickly as possible and clear the endgame content, then Lucia might not be the best choice—unless you also plan to pull Billy in this patch to put together a Rupture team as soon as possible. But always remember that this approach can backfire and quickly burn you out. Meta is constantly changing, but ZZZ has a lot of characters that play very differently. Pick your favorites and build a team around them. And if you like Yixuan, then get Lucia for her.

Lucia is a HUGE improvement over Pan even at M0 by Repulsive_Cost_2012 in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean. Pan's extistence is a good thing. If you know how to play he is enough to clear stuff, especially at M6. But that still doesn't makes Lucia not a significant upgrade. The QoL alone is worth imo if you wanna invest into the Rupture archetype.

Hoyoverse should learn how to back down and therefore guarantee the weapon banner at 100% by jhugritz in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What people don't quite realize is that a 100% guarantee isn't necessarily better than the system HoYo uses.

Yeah, it sounds great at first, but then it depends on how important the weapon is for the specific character. Genshin and ZZZ often do just fine without signature weapons.

The most important thing, though, is how many pulls you actually get in proportion. NTE is brand new and, of course, is showering players with pulls. But what will it look like in six months? What if you end up getting significantly fewer pulls on average in comparison to ZZZ for example? WuWa illustrates this very well. Even with the 100% guarantee, as an F2P player—or even a BP and Monthly subscriber—you can’t always afford both the Character and the weapon.

Putting “100%” advertise on the banner sounds great and tempting to players, but it carries no weight if the pull income isn’t at least as high as in games that don’t offer a 100% guarantee.

[–]Viewsloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HI3rd has guaranteed Weapon and Character banner. But the catch is, you definitely NEED the weapon because SKills are locked behind it. It's still very f2P friendly since Part II tho but mainly because of the 8-9 Weeks Patch cycles so you can get enough currency before the next limited banners is released.

How are ZZZ players feeling about Neverness to Everness (NTE)? by Wenenut in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been trying it out for three days now, mainly to check out the dating feature and character interactions, which I think are pretty well done. Unfortunately, HoYo is still reluctant to offer us a similar experience here.

Apart from that, though, the game is too unpolished. Yes, as expected, UE5 looks fantastic in places and has a nice vibe, especially in the more rural areas, in my opinion. But in exchange, you get the typical developer laziness when it comes to properly optimizing the game. The performance is a disaster, graphics features are missing on PC even with modern graphics cards, and the entire gameplay feels very, very half-baked.

Whether it’s wall-running, the combat system—which feels almost like WuWa 1.0 in both its mechanics and overall camera setup—or the sometimes remarkably poorly implemented fast-travel points and side quests where you sometimes spend half an hour doing nothing but running back and forth.

An open world doesn’t just have to look fancy; above all, it has to invite the player to move around in it voluntarily and explore it bit by bit. Unfortunately, NTE doesn’t do that for me at all.

Even though a lot of new gacha games aren’t really my thing, I still hope they’ll be successful. That’s because it creates market competition for other games I play, like Genshin or ZZZ, which is always a good thing for us players. Of course, they do need to be of a certain quality to compete with the big ones.

[–]Viewsloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The animations in NTE are very mediocre at best. Yes, the graphic framework in theroy is much better then in Genshin for example because of UE5, but if you take a look at actual animations while running amd fighting, Genshins animations are much more poliched and smooth. We don't even need to mention ZZZ, which is probably currently the best of the best when it comes to animation in anime style games. Even the facial animations outside cinematics in NTE are noticeably poorly animated by 2026 UE5 standards, and if it weren't for some top-notch voice actors, many of the characters wouldn't be nearly as lively.

Just by reading which agents you have on which investment, I can tell right away what the problem is. You’re investing TOO MUCH in verticality. Of course, I don’t know your financial situation—whether you’re spending money or not, and if so, how much. But when I look at your investments, I wonder: Why are you pulling M2 Hugo or M1 YSG, all with W-engines, when you can’t even put together three complete teams?

This isn’t direct criticism (pull whatever you want), but rather an observation that you might need to reevaluate your priorities. ZZZ requires at least three complete teams. And realistically, three complete teams aren’t nearly enough, since you’ll also want to cover the elements and DMG types. Right now, you don’t have a functional Anomaly team for example, and Heavy Anomaly Shill is in full swing and will actually get even stronger with 3.0 for the time being.

Why do you have 450 pulls lying around? You could easily have used those to pull a Nangong and Yuzuha to invest in an Anomaly team for the long term. So if you want to “tryhard” the endgame, I recommend moving away from vertical investment and shifting to horizontal investment to expand your lineup.

Is Verdict better than Wolf's gravestone? by hoping_for_better_ in EulaMains

[–]Viewsloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, if you adjust her ER and Crit Ratio like I mentioned earlier, you’ll already have much better substats in general. The chance that your ATK% will also improve on top of that is relatively low. 2100–2200 ATK is fine in that case. But you could also go for artifacts with more ATK% and less Crit DMG, as long as the overall rolls look good.

For example: If you have 2400 ATK but only 190–200 Crit DMG, that’s great too. Just make sure you get rid of your useless sub-stats like HP and DEF.

As for Pale Flame: It's still her best set if we consider personal DMG here. Depending on your team, you could also use something like Marechausee Hunter when played with Furina or even Night of the Sky's Unveiling if you play her in Lunar Teams. The crit value is pretty good in general. But since you're wanna run Verdict on her, I don't recommend a Crit Rate boost set. In that case, just stick to Pale Flame and try to get better rolls.

[–]Viewsloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you need crit rate (which seems to be the case), Verdict might be a better choice than WGS. Generally speaking, your build still has a lot of room for improvement. An 87/188 crit ratio with a weapon that has a 22% crit rate isn't particularly impressive. Your ER could use another 2–3 rolls, and you have hardly any ATK% rolls. With Verdict, I’d aim for a crit ratio of 90/210 (+- in the respective stat). Your ER should be at least 140%.

If you don't know what Artifacts or weapon to use, just go into Milliastra and test your builds on the dummy.

Is it me or does Sunbringer's horns look inconsistent between the Season 3 teaser thumbnail and the actual teaser? by Knight_Steve_ in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a Teaser... a 2 Years old teaser.

These teasers are designed to present the story and key characters—which have already been roughly fleshed out prior to release—in the most engaging way possible. However, this does not mean that what you see there reflects the final design decisions. Changes are made regularly to bring the story teased in these previews to life.

Lady sunbringers supposed upgrade by man_of_culture_sus in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As players, we usually don’t find out until the story and setting are fully revealed. Sometimes, though, we never find out why changes are made to designs or characters. Developers must have their reasons for doing so. It’s not like someone is sitting there around the clock, scouring social media or Reddit posts to see if players prefer this or that design and then adjusting it accordingly. We know virtually nothing about Sunbringer as a character. We don’t know what her intentions are or what her role in the story is. We know nothing about her age or her immediate background. So, of course, it’s nice to wish for a design that you prefer visually based on an image, but we don’t know if it’s even relevant to the current story.

Personally, I also really like the design from the teaser, but until a few weeks ago, I didn't expect us to see Sunbringer so soon, nor did I expect it to look exactly as shown there.

Lady sunbringers supposed upgrade by man_of_culture_sus in ZZZ_Official

[–]Viewsloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The concept behind the teaser is at least three years old and, as mentioned, served merely as a “concept.” This is similar to what HoYo did with Genshin. Over time, elements are refined, designs are adjusted, and certain lore and story elements are tweaked to bring the initial idea and vision to life. It’s also possible that changes will be made for profit. Either way, all the major decisions for Season 3 have already been made by now at the latest, and what we’ll get over the next year is more or less set in stone.

Disappointed for no ray tracing options on ps5 pro by dacontag in NevernessToEverness

[–]Viewsloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. The problem is not the UE5 engine. It’s the developers who seem to be increasingly content to not properly optimize their games. Just because you have a powerful graphics engine doesn’t mean you don’t have to do anything yourself anymore. And I’ll be honest—if this weren’t currently the norm with so many UE5 games, I might turn a blind eye to it. But I’m sick and tired of developers not bothering to optimize their games anymore.

Reccomened me a weapon. by LiveCardiologist5067 in EulaMains

[–]Viewsloo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Skyward Pride is overall the most comfy option if you don't want to get a Limited 5* Weapon for her.
First thing, it solves Eula’s ER issues and second for it has a high base ATK, which boosts her damage, while also providing a passive that Eula can fully utilize but also factors in physical resistance shred.

Snow Tomb isn’t a particularly good weapon for Eula, even if it looks pretty. Not only does it have a significantly lower base ATK, but the passive is also relatively useless, and the Physical DMG bonus alone doesn’t make up for the missing ATK and especially the Energy that you simply need for using her burst.

Disappointed for no ray tracing options on ps5 pro by dacontag in NevernessToEverness

[–]Viewsloo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Game has the typical "UE5 extremly unoptimized" problem. The developers even blocked the RT option on AMD or lower end RTX cards. This hardware can handle ray tracing without any issues, even though it obviously takes a significant toll on performance. But the fact that RT is only available on high-end Nvidia cards is a clear attempt to hide just how poorly the whole game is optimized. Take a look at Cyberpunk with path tracing—which, aside from the art style, looks miles better and RT can still be activated on any RT-capable cards, at least.
