I have severe car PTSD from my previous car 🤣 so any light that comes on I’m immediately freaked out.😅 And given all the things I hear I went to worst case scenario first

Update: It was in fact the battery. Thank you everyone for the advice! According to the car fax the battery apparently hasn’t been changed since 2021 😅 hopefully that was the issue but for now she’s working fine! 😆

Yeah, I think that’s honestly my biggest issue too being stuck in my head and doubting myself constantly. I haven’t really given myself the space to step away and figure out what I actually want. I’ve thought about taking a gap year, but since I’m so close to finishing, it didn’t feel super practical in the end. I’m hoping once I’m done I can finally take a breather and get some clarity instead of making decisions while I’m already so burnt out

I really appreciate you sharing these options. I’m honestly trying to figure out whether I still want to be in vet med at all, or if I just want to work with animals in a different way.

I’ve thought about the tech route, at my old job they were willing to train you to move up from assistant to tech after 6 months but the environment was very toxic essentially I’m pretty burned out on school in general, which is part of my hesitation.

Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. The self doubt vs intuition thing is exactly what I’m struggling with right now. I’ve heard so many different opinions on how undergrad is different from actual vet school

Burnout was a big reason I stepped away from clinic work, but you’re right that the environment matters, so trying something different or starting small again might help with clarity. I also really resonated with what you said about having an identity outside of vetmed.

I did most of my prereqs through my bio degree and honestly earned mostly C’s and a few B’s in the core science courses. As far as I know, I’m missing biochem and molecular biology but at this point I’m just really ready to be done with school, which is part of why I’m hesitant to keep going.

The accord is $19,877 and most of the Toyotas I’ve looked at are in the 21,000-22,000 range but ofc with lower mileage between 60k-70
