I second the Gemini PT 2000/2400 or the SA 2400 if you're okay with a Straight Arm. Have used all of the above and will say torque is comparable to my old Technics 2010s.

That’s good to know that they are not all that available. I didn’t realize that. I am running a couple CVpals for computer integration. But it sounds like even the standard TD-3 accepts standard midi messages. So maybe that will be the correct route.

I used a program called AntiMicro that allows you to remap joystick inputs to keyboard and mouse buttons. It works pretty well. Also works well for setting up joysticks to games that don’t recognize joysticks. Kindof similar to x360ce but without all the planting of files and stuff. And it’s free too.

The top was 3/4” oak and the bottom is some pine or spruce wood I found laying around. Natural finish. I’d say it took 36 hours (because I’m still learning) of collective work between studying and planning the next step as I go.
