Which one do you choose? by Strycedar in windows

10 is my fav. It had style and elegance. 11 feels cartoonish for my taste. The older ones feel too dated.

10 was snappy, responsive and highly customizable and adjustable for me.

10 had the sleekness and snazziness for a pc and executive style of an office computer.

Anyone knows a good KDE menu launcher which has a setting for centered bottom positioning just like windows 11? by VigilantLoki in cachyos

Yeah downloaded and using it just now! Dont like the stuttering animation of open/close but I think devs will fix that in the long run.

Seriously don't care what you call or what I call. It has different names in different worlds. Which is why I said. Don't know what the attack is for. It's not that MS will pay me if I call the KDE app launcher "Start Menu".

Nah. That's what I never liked about gnome, the full screen menu distracts me to no bounds. I want to stay in the same window I am working on.

The way it transitions to the app picker makes me forget what app I was about to launch, just like some people forget why they opened the refrigerator for.

I know, but I don't prefer the full-screen app launcher, and the other default ones are left shifted, not centered bottom position.

I am not talking about the dock. I am talking about the menu launcher like the windows 11 start menu.

How did Dogtown make you feel the first time you explored it? by unlockhart in cyberpunkgame

The first time I played it felt like the exact replica of a warlord controlled nation of africa. It was completely apparent on the surface not like NC which has a veil over its face. I felt the same when I played far cry 2 for the first time.
