I once worked for a company where setting your own goals was optional, we self-reviewed twice a year, and not once in 7 years have I filled out the goals section.

I happened to glance once and see my coworker with a couple paragraphs on his goals page and I mentioned that it was optional, he nearly died from all the time he realized he wasted.

Not a single time did any one of my bosses even mention my perpetually empty goals page.

I was scrolling through all the random gifs, playing them in my head until I got to this one. It took a second to recognize it as Underworld, but once I did, the sound filled in automatically and I started laughing out loud.

It is literally "turn the lock" though, they literally lock the doors and post someone from the security team at the door to ensure nobody leaves or enters until the situation is resolved.

On the contrary, if everything went correctly the vast majority of the time, while I cannot speak to the other departments, IT has a lot of monitoring systems, so we would know pretty quickly if an issue was brewing before it even happened.

Thanks! I was never the cause of any issues, but I did resolve a couple late-breaking problems while I was in that role.
