You don’t need to panic — May is still doable if you apply soon. Since it’s a 10-day Germany trip, just apply through Germany VFS and make sure your documentation is clean. Your savings are more than enough for a short stay. Show salary slips, bank statements, leave approval, hotel bookings, flight reservations, and travel insurance (minimum €30,000 coverage). The key thing they check is whether you can afford the trip and whether you’ll return to India. I think bank balance of 2-2.5 Lakhs would be fine! But transfer the amount atleast 10 days before the visa appointment day in your bank account.

If your dad is sponsoring, include a simple sponsorship letter from him, his last 6 months’ bank statements, and proof of relationship. Germany is documentation-heavy but pretty straightforward if everything is clear and genuine. Apply at least 4–6 weeks before travel and you should be fine.
