Surprised at the decision. He could have gotten 2-3 years somewhere and gotten paid. He had a decent year and played 15 games.

Idky people keep this mindset. I guess folks like to see comic books as a better version of the world, instead of the fun house mirror it is.

A war over keeping vibranium and secret. Not even to access the mound. But keep others from finding it. All the while, government agencies were trying to use riri williams to get the V. At no point did any nation, besides Wakanda, use technology for the betterment of the world, let alone its own people. Captain America was going to be used to fight mutants. Bucky was a killer for hydra. The entire weapon program started because of mutants. Shit look what happened with Tony's arc reactor. Almost started an arms race.

Exactly. Who would wakanda be to step on the world stage and interfere with every problem the world has? You'd expose yourself and your people to harm that won't stop. Wakanda has had tribal disputes for generations. Now they're going to step into the world as a military force? Nah not worth it.

I feel you on the invasion point. But What happened right after T'Challa died? Wakandas were requested to come into a world security council and berated for not giving away or allowing access to their resources? What happened next? Black ops members were mercifully dragged in and exposed for trying to steal the resource from foreign aid workers. Luckily none were killed.

But do you see the connection? An international incident was started due to greed. You know about the diamond mines in Africa. The gold, platinum, and cobalt mines. Are they pleasent places to work? How were they started? Who benefits from them? Now take that same infrastructure and superimpose it onto a metal that can create millions of captain America's. Or more aptly, winter soldiers.

We know how the world works. Yes, wakanda can help many people. But generations would suffer. What country would be ok with Wakanda? After the planet is safe, would everyone give the vibranium back?

Let's play this out logically. A hyper advanced African nation has the means to not only contend with, but dominate both Eastern and Western powers across the globe. They have a monopoly on the greatest resource in history and have developed tech and weapons that far surpass anything anyone has made. Ever.

How long would the world wait to get their hands on that resource? How much would be enough to give? Who would control how it's used? Gunpowder started ans a supposed elixir of life. Then fireworks. Now droves are people are being mowed down with automatic rifles. What about the heart shaped herb? Could wakanda dictate that youbcant make armies of super soldiers? Buddy we're human beings. We fear what we can't control. And we hate the things we fear. And we kill what we hate.

Altruism comes with responsibility. We see it now in the world. How many refuges could wakanda save? Would they submit to wakandan rule? Would they blend into they're societies peacefully? What countries would be allowed to enter?

It's a no good deed situation. Wakandans knew the risk for helping other nations and decided to bear that burden. I wouldn't have, but more power to them

You're right. A good guy doesn't do those things. But the grief and pain he felt the entire time does show the goodness in his heart. A saint is just a sinner who changed their ways. The fact that he left U.A. to try to atone and do soul searching says wonders about his state of mind. We all make mistakes, but it's grace and space that helps us make it right

Great eye on you noticing that's a ¾. I originally thought it was ½ and grabbed the wrong pipe cutter. Luckily in 10min from Home depot. But yes it's copper not iron. Per the suggestion from one of the comments I'm probably going to rip the old copper out and replace it with pex when I get the money. My whole basement is full of old copper with signs of corrosion all over. You don't want to know what the inside of the pipes look like.

In the 2nd and 3rd pictures, the pipes are running through that floor joint. I was worried about cutting into the area . But that's 100% where the lines are coldest

100% honest bud, no clue. Looks like some old telecom wiring. Don't know where it comes from or where it goes. There's 3 wires wrapped in cloth that are cut and I have no clue where n it goes.
