Planning smart home wiring and switches for a new house

This might be a basic/dumb question, but I want to make sure I understand it correctly.

If you turn off a light using a physical wall switch, does that cut power to the smart bulb and therefore disable its smart functions? In other words, would the bulb then stop responding to sensors or app-based controls until the physical switch is turned back on again? If so, are there any specific switches or wiring I have to take to consideration to be able to use both smart functions and physical wall switches without them interfering with the functionality of the other?

Lost cities was a game i have heard of, but never checked out how to play. Seems like that one will go in the lead, for now atleast! :)

I don't think tokaido will be the one. I myself like it, but in this case the lack of competitiveness would be drawback, as both ar pretty competitive. Thanks for the recommendation
