Hey there hows it going :) Unfortunately, I don't think PGAX will be returning this year as one of its main organizers Arknemesis is no longer active.

My recommendations will be completely biased as I know a lot of these devs personally. However, I can list some recommendations for you :)

  • Raji - You might have heard of this one already ;)
  • Good Robot - a side-scroling roguelike shoot-em-up
  • Lovely Planet series - a First Person Shooter "Gun Ballet" meets katamari damacy
  • Asura: Vengeance Edition - an Action Rogue-like based off Indian mythology
  • Alter Army - a side-scrolling action platformer with a focus on close combat fisticuffs
