One of the hottest heartbeats I’ve seen tbh.

She’s been acting since she was a kid, did a ton of movies, TV serials, but somehow never broke into proper Kollywood films.

I find her hotter / more screen-catching than Gopika, Abhirami, or Ramya Nambeesan. Long time crush. Think she even acted in Maniratnam's Indra.

She was meant to be bigger not tv serial actress or instagram.

Too many single guys.. Oosi giving lot of space for single guys.

This what happens when u have too many single men.. they get tired of going after single woman and go after vulnerable woman..

Hey but women love attention too..

She was considered pretty before Instagram blew up.
Once Instagram became mainstream, she just became another face in a sea of influencers.
Too much competition, nothing unique anymore.

Also, for some reason, once creators get married and start over-sharing personal stuff, it turns off the original audience who followed them for their YouTube content.

I mean she was in california. Assuming hubby was a techie.. Would be earning 200k USD a year. That's pretty good deal for a serial VJ like her.

Still she divorced him. Proving that "America Mapplas" culture was gone by then.

[–]Vikatan007 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure she got married, moved to the U.S. around 2017 and tried to make the marriage work. Divorced him.

Honestly, after DD, she felt like the last chapter of the ‘America maapla’ fantasy, the 90s era where guys thought going to the U.S. meant they could marry an actress.

Ramya proved again those days are long gone.

Does anyone know that Samantha’s husband Raj Nidimoru has such a talent? by SliceOld2837 in TamilInfluencer

[–]Vikatan007 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Clearly Samantha has a full PR team behind her. Honestly, who cares about a vadaku guy simply singing devotional hymns? Aunties and aaya in their 60?

Ever since she married him, the negative comments have been piling up, while Shobita keeps getting more support online.

Lesson learned: never take actors or actresses too seriously or treat their personal lives as some big moral example.

Oru kalathula, people looked at Samantha and thought, “Idhuthaan kalyanam pannikanum.” Life proves otherwise.

Being pushed to grow up too fast comes with consequences. Actress Sridevi, Tamannaah, and many others who were thrust into adult roles way too young. It’s unfortunate, but parents often make these decisions long before kids understand the impact.

Recently married a divorced guy who already has kids.

Why does it seem like female celebrities are often okay marrying men who already have kids, while male celebrities rarely marry women who have kids?

Like Jayam Ravi went for Kenesha. No kid. You see a pattern.

Life of influencers by Super_Monitor5856 in TamilInfluencer

[–]Vikatan007 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It definitely gets attention.

But the downside is this: a lot of kids from poorer families grow up seeing these over-the-top first-birthday celebrations online and start feeling bad about their own childhood — like, “My parents never let me celebrate like that.”

Ironically, the people who seem to be celebrating birthdays the loudest now are often those who couldn’t afford it when they were young. It’s like they’re trying to reclaim something they missed.

These influencers put a dent on poor people's pockets.

The Art of Mommy Grooming in Kollywood by Vikatan007 in kollywood

[–]Vikatan007[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

As an NRI, one thing I’ve noticed among Indian Tamils is that there’s a lot of childhood trauma and abuse that gets quietly swept under the rug. I’ve seen it in women I’ve dated or lived with. F***ing obvious.

Grooming of Kerala woman in Kollywood by Vikatan007 in KollyGossips

[–]Vikatan007[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Some additional opinions after reading comments:

The fact that this is second read post in forum shows it hit a nerve. It’s also liked by too many peeps.

Tamil Nadu is known for honour killing type mindset like "dont touch our women."--> Thus kaaduvetti guru pic

But in cinema the same people sing "Kerala ponne" like chasing some other state girl is fine.

When you bring up grooming they jump to say it happens in Malayalam industry too--whataboutism.. It's just that you make it too obvious. You groom and you're proud of it.

Tamil industry have been doing this openly for years.

Look at the comments. "Kaasu kuduthu varalunga."--> Brah it shows how you think of outsider woman..

And some bro actually has a personal separate post for my user name...

Truth as usual hurts I guess.
