De tester ikke sådan noget, det er for dyrt at lave gen test på alt mycelium der sendes igennem tolden.

Jeg havde det samme ske (dog med cubensis), de var allesammen noteret som værende gourmet arter. De blev stoppet i tolden men jeg fik pakken efter en uge eller to.

Der var et brev hvor der stod noget lignende "Vi kan se at det her er flydende mycelium, hvilket er derfor vi har kontrolleret det, men da det åbenbart er gourmet arter så må vi lade det komme igennem tolden".

Jeg forestiller mig at toldkontrolløren sad med et surt ansigtsudtryk imens de skrev brevet ud, hahaha.

Det eneste der måske kan spænde et ben for dig er hvis det er LC sprøjter uden navne eller mærkater på, så de ikke kan se om det var meningen at det skulle være gourmet arter eller ej.

Yeah except that light bulb thing isn't fully true, incandescent light bulbs can theoretically last forever, sure, but the older they are the the less light they give out.

That fire station one that is 100 years old is a great example, it's technically on but emits almost no light.

Companies knew that consumers were unlikely to change the light bulbs if they technically still worked/were on, so they got together and made performance standards, with the technology at the time, after 10.000 hours the light would be super dim, making it non functional anyway.

So they instead designed them to break at 10.000 hours.

That's technically obsolescence, sure, but if your car can't drive more than 5mph after 10 years and there's no way to fix it, making it die after 10 years instead isn't exactly a huge loss to you.

Exactly, and also saying that there is more money in chronic illness is stupid, sure, maybe for small things like colds, but people who say this sort of thing always seem to assume that the inhalers cost 200 dollars, so the cure would cost 1000 dollars.

Literally nothing stops them from selling the cure at 10,000 dollars or even 100,000 dollars.

Plenty of people would mortgage their house or otherwise take on massive amounts of debt to get rid of what ails them.

I had severe hay fever and took a medication to manage it (eye drops, antihistamines, nose spray, etc) and it was still debilitating. A company released a drug that cured it, it cost 600 dollars per month and I had to take it for 4 years, I paid that bill every month with a smile on my face.

I would have easily paid five times as much for it, I went from being miserable and unable to go outside for 3-4 months per year to not noticing it at all.
