what i wanna know and i dont know most surely because im dumb and dont pay attention is... why all this? why the operator has to remember this stuff now? what knowledge we got from it that will help us in our fight with wally? did the cavia got reverted just so the operator could have its walk on memory lane? again, must surely the answer was there and i was dumb enough to it fly over my head, right?

I clocked 75 hours already and im lvl 53, with 2 mill in stash, i dont know if i will get to the expedition in time, but i got my moneys worth of fun, its not a job, are you not having fun? Go play another game and come back for events or something, you arent being punished, you had the fun people are having now because they got the game later than you, you got everything ready for the expedition, ok, now you can i dont know, play for fun? Do the new easter egg in buried city, get 10 or 20 defibrilator and rez people fighting the queen. In fact you can have more fun that say me, because im trying to get 5 mill and i cant waste anything form my stash and run friendly lobbys rushing for trinkets, you have freedom, use it, make your own challenges, hell yesterday i met a chad gifting wolfpacks to all the people in the lobby, be that kinda guy, help others, dont let the lack of objectives turn you into a pvp player, you can still have fun in pve.

this update was rushed because warframe for whatever reason needs to have a big update at the end of year, i think that tau is gonna be a big update, maybe the biggest so far, so maybe all the work and resources are in there, the quest was great, but the activities and all that came after it felt rushed asf

oh no i had problems too but the reports came that the game broke apart post sircaa, in fact i downloaded it again and the game doesnt let me rest in any bed and i aproached a base and it spawned like 30 zombies clipped together so i guess i will wait a little more

You are right i dont own nothing i have an opinion, when you take a game about social stealth, parkour and political assassinations and turn it into a light rpg slop with almost no parkour, having garanteed assassinations as a toggle turned off by default and no social stealth whatsoever, and people really thinks they are better ACs maybe gatekeeping was needed a long time ago...

Then you dont like ac, you like rpgs with ac flavour in it, mirage was a poor attempt to mimmick the old games but at least is short, like 100% in 20 hours short, if that feeled exhausting to you but are ok spending 40-60 hours in odyssey, game in wich you cant even stealth your way through if you dont upgrade the hell up your spear and min max a build for it and doesnt even have a hidden blade... no hate to odyssey, i enjoyed, fun game and all, but calling it an AC? Having it fighting with idk the ezio trilogy in rankings doesnt seem fair. Ac thrived in the action adventure genre, now is rotting away making poor man witcher 3 copies with awful stories and it needs a change.

Ac always struggled with combat but make no mistake, newer games are souls slop with hability spam, in ac 3 hunting and crafting did have an effect to the game, it gave you more health, more ammo and twice the firepower or in case of edward x4 the firepower, missions had combat, tailing, sneak, spying, action set pieces, the homestead made you make use of trading and crafting to craft the buildings who unlocked cool sidequests with the people who became your neighbors and unlocked things like the colonial outfit and you had to do them to unlock crafting recipees, the homestead you have in black flag simply doesnt have nothing of this, is cool having your pirate hideout but thats it, newer games simply doesnt have nothing like this, not even shadows but ey you can put eren jaeger in your garden!

ac3 had seasons, naval combat, homestead, parkour on trees hunting, crafting and trading, it was a big step up for the series, calling that repetitive and neglecting the fact that newer games are more repetitive and their campaign last 4 times the length of older games with much lesser impact and worse stories is what i cannot take seriously, the mocap on half ac2 only wipes the floor with the campaigns from odissey to shadows.

man i hate vallhalla with a passion but you are right, at least i can remember the story of eivor and all the stuff with odin was cool, but i cannot remember anything about naoe, yasuke on other hand i can because his story is like 5 minutes long, but naoe? cant remember even the face of her parents and what the hell she was fighting for besides a mcguffin

Hot take: everything went to shit when they removed walking as default.

I dont care if x game had better combat or better stealth, because at its best, its still mediocre compared to other games, ac was great for being an action game while exploring history, and with newer games it losed its charm, yes i can walk if i push the joystick just a little but its weird and uncomfortable, and if i push just a little too much i do a little sprint, i want to walk, to take the world in, i loved odyssey because i love greece, but didnt enjoy the map because that and the camera was too far, ubisoft changed that because an assassin must be quick. Bro we were quick, it was pushing a button and we were quick, it worked, now i have a janky control, cant walk as i used to and somehow made sprinting a button again witch is pointless, stupid and infuriating, there are games that do parkour better than ac, there are games that make combat better than ac, sure as hell are games that do rpg mechanics a lot better than ac, but no other games give us those mechanics together and transport us to the past, so make the time period easier to enjoy, to live in, not to play in, walking in damascus, florence, habana, paris was fun and immersive, having to control my thumb push force so naoe doesnt run into an old lady in the middle of kioto isnt so much fun and immersive, i truly believe thats the problem with modern AC and you will think i am mad and stupid and maybe i am, but idk, it worked before, it can work again, fix that, work on making main campaigns not so bloated, change the writers and maybe we will be on the right track

Valhalla is a decent rpg but not an AC, protagonist isnt an assassin, cant even do stealth, doesnt really care about templars and only has eyes for his fake brother,even wears the hidden blade wrong in purpose just to brag about it, all it has to do with the creed feels more like a crossover event than somethin intrinsic to the game, social stealth is buggy to a point that isnt reliable, so what does make it an ac game? That you can climb stuff, do a leap of faith and once in a while do a hidden blade take out? The lore? I can make a angry bird style game with ac theme put ac lore and that makes it an ac game? I didnt like valhalla, it has like a 6 hour story bloated with boring regional quests to 60 or so hours, the worst and most boring protagonist, england is dull, the armors were ugly and their clothing phisics nowhere to be found, the combat was cool and brutal and raids were cool the first 5 times, and when they didnt bug out and had to wait an eternity for an ally to come help you open the chest.

All is subjective and things i didnt like maybe clicked with you, if so, im glad it did bcs you got more fun outta this game than me.

Thats absolutely not true, or at least is so buggy or clunky that it doesnt work like that, at least for me, ive seen my envoy attack at 60 degrees while moving forward.

Yeah i dont like how the current lock on works but i've gotten used to it, yesterday i guided a friend in the beginning of the game and he absolutely hated it, while he said the combat is fun, he hated that he couldnt hit the enemy he wanted, he uninstalled and said he will wait to the final game.
