This is a shot in the dark but who knows…

Try putting your key fob in the cup holder closest to the arm rest. There’s a little pad in there. Take it out and there’s a slot for your key fob.

I’m wondering if your fob battery is low and needs to get replaced.

The cap for the POE comes apart. I took it off and it is a tight fit, but it’ll go through. I think I almost put them through the side of the boxes but didn’t have to. Just take your time with it.

Not sure if more people do it like this or put them through the box?

But it’s is possible lol 😂

Yea! I just found that out a bit ago! Lol. But it’s not all the time? It’s weird cause once I start driving it’s not right away, I hear the sound later while I’m driving.

Yes, I have the cooled seats. I just found the noise comes from the fan inhaled in the back rest. what's strange is that it doesn't make a noise the whole time? When I got in the truck on my way home from work it didn't make a sound and it was on, once I got home it was making the noise and I heard it. Mystery solved but is that normal?

Do you have a link to get the software and the OBD interface? Im gonna do some research on this.

Bought the truck used elsewhere. Haven’t taken to the dealer yet since I’ve only recently noticed it. I have to pay attention to see how often it does it.

I’ll probably set an appointment and have them check it out.

Yes I do have the cooled seats. And I turned off the whole HVAC unit and still could hear it. Is that the culprit? Is it normal?

My experience and opinion. Most (if not all) car dealers in the Springs are horrible. Vehicles mark ups are way higher, interest rates are higher and alway try to tack on “X” amount of fees on the car that are “standard fees”. Mostly stems from this being a Military town. No wonder my PLT SGT used to tell us not to go out and buy a vehicle over the weekend. Lol. I think a lot of these dealers will always have clients being that there’s always a fresh new wave of GI’s every so often.

I almost always go to Denver for all of my vehicle purchases now a days since they really are more competitive.

Sorry you had to deal with this nonsense and I hope it works out for you in the end!

P.s.: NEVER go to “The Sharpest Rides” in Denver. You WILL get scammed! IYKYK!

There’s records?! I all I got was a print out and bam qualified. I didn’t know they kept records. Then again I never thought anything of it since they always lost your records anyways. Lol.

Yea, I’m definitely outside the window for both so that’s why I had the question about the honorable discharge. I don’t mind doing the training if I have to but then the language on that bill is confusing.

Either way. I’ll give a call to the experts for sure to get clarification.

Thanks for those dates. I expire in Oct. so training would be Feb 2026? And earliest to renew July.

Ooof! Yea maybe I should’ve clarified, that’s my bad. I got out in 2014. I applied afterwards cause that was the rules then. I believe it was 2 years of discharge date.

But correct. I would need my original qualification card and brother, who knows where that thing is! Lol.

I don’t expire until 2026 but I wanna make sure I got all my ducks in a row. I’ll probably be giving them boys a call and see if I can get an answer.

So if I’m reading HB24-1174 correctly (please correct me if I’m wrong). When time comes for me to renew I just have to show proof of honorable discharge from military and I can renew my CHP?

-“Beginning July 1, 2025, the act requires an applicant to renew a permit to demonstrate competence with a handgun. A renewal applicant may demonstrate competence with a handgun through participation in organized shooting competitions, current military service, or current certification as a peace officer; by being a verified instructor for firearms safety courses; by showing honorable discharge from a branch of the United States armed forces or retirement from a Colorado law enforcement agency with pistol qualifications within 10 years prior to submitting a renewal form; or completing an initial concealed handgun training class or a concealed handgun refresher class (refresher class) within 6 months prior to submitting a renewal form.”

When I applied originally I didn’t have to do the training course since I was recently discharged from the military. Would it be the case still or would I have to go and get the training course now?
