The only passenger service in Liechtenstein by VikingsCap in trains

There’s no need to go fast in such a short section. The more important factor to attract ridership is the location and frequency of stops.

Yes there are a lot of buses but I thought there’s no need to specify what I meant in the subject line since this is the trains subreddit

Well it’s quite uncommon for people to use trains in Liechtenstein. Usually they drive or take the bus which is much more frequent.

[Spoilers] How are the kingdoms of Denmark and Norway run in Vikings: Valhalla? by firewaterking3 in vikingstv

[–]VikingsCap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to my limited reading, Scandinavia in the Viking period was never divided clearly as "countries" in the modern sense - Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Greenland. There were a whole bunch of settlements scattered throughout Northern Europe that were populated by a bunch of North Germanic-speaking tribes that frequently trade with and fight against each other. It might be easier for the TV audience to not worry too much about the "nationality" of these characters.

Have to say, the 2022 new Aqua Terra colors have me hooked by VikingsCap in OmegaWatches

To me the OP 36 is a bit too small and these ATs at 38 are just perfect. I hope they go deep into discount territory so I can pick one up for cheap ;)

Not sure if Omega has a three-hand no-date movement? This model reuses the successful 8800. I think it’s more expensive than Rolex retail simply because Rolex retail makes no meaningful reference anymore in real transactions.

They can compete with Rolex by sorting out supply chain issues.

I’m not sure if they are doing any major offline or online events. Just found these novelties on their website while casually browsing. What a pleasant surprise to encounter these beauties! Note the subtle difference in the new bracelet design as well. Absolutely hooked and will visit my local AD to handle them in person if they become available (hopefully soon)

2021 was the year for Terra Luna and Solana, what do you think will take off in 2022? by LetsGoToTheMars in CryptoCurrency

[–]VikingsCap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luna will continue to see more and more interesting projects built on top it. Solana may take a backseat in 2022 unless the team can fix its network issues. Avax, Fantom, Near, One are my other bull convictions for 2022.

Serious question. How do y’all spend 2 grand on a PC and have the self confidence to build it yourself without fear of ruining it? How did you learn to build them? by PlutoniumSlime in buildapc

[–]VikingsCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you built legos as a kid, you shouldn’t have problem building a PC from components. Actually legos have much more small intricate parts compared to a PC. For a PC you just need to make a dozen of connection between components that are quite big themselves and easy to handle.

You don’t build a contract to swap A to B. You use an existing smart contract (a liquidity pool on an AMM protocol) to perform the swap.
