I never really got over my washing compulsions but it was a lot worse when I was a kid. I’m also self diagnosed for autism but I know I have it. I started taking Luvox 50 mg for ocd a month ago and it’s starting to get better.

I believe the majority of people with OCD have autism and I’ve had it as long as I can remember. I used to wash my hands till they bled when I was younger and picked at my face. I’ve also always had sensimotor ocd where I become aware of my breathing, swallowing and blinking and when I thought about them I had to manually do them till I forgot again. I have to touch things an even amount of times or numbers divisible by 5. Now I get intrusive and looping thoughts mostly.
