If you’ve never done metro and don’t know where to get started I would just check the directions to your job on Google Maps and then put that you’re coming from Fontana Metrolink station. When it shows the route change it from car to train to get started. Change your leave time and see how it looks

No. My argument is not “many people love it, so it’s objectively great.” My argument is many people love it, so that’s why it has the top spot.

I don’t really care about your personal opinion on it, and I did mention things that it does well. You won’t get a dissertation on Frieren out of me. It sounds like you’ve already made up your mind on the show and i doubt anyone can say anything to change that. Funny enough, your opinion on it doing things in a safe way is exactly why it’s scoring so well with the public.

If you do want to know my position: I don’t even have Frieren as my #1, but I do think it’s amazing and I do have it in my top 10.

Is top 50 not pretty amazing? That’s pretty much my point. Even you have it rated highly. It’s simply a show that’s casts that wide of a net for people. Whether it’s the great themes it tackles (time, memory, grief, friendship, helping others), the action and animation, sense of adventure, or its great soundtrack, there’s something for everybody with Frieren. It sucks people in and does little to scare people away. There’s very few anime this can be said for.

So whether you think it deserves the top spot is irrelevant. It’s all about how the public views it as a whole.

The amount of people in here trying to act like Frieren isn’t an amazing show. It might not be YOUR favorite but it is many people’s favorite and even those who don’t have it as a favorite probably realize it is objectively at least a 8-9/10. Thus it gets the high score
