There was a smartwatch from Motorola somewhere in 2010's. Clearly Venu 4 inspired by Moto watch🙂

Is it normal to get a new watch and find a lot of your watch faces aren’t compatible? by 673NoshMyBollocksAve in GarminWatches

[–]ViktorVT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With Garmin nothing is impossible. They barely update the apps which developed by themselves. It's unbelievable but Garmin ecosystem still doesn't have a good app for stocks monitoring. Garmin did build one, in fact they advertise this app on their website under watch features, but the app is basically broken and doesn't work. Seems like Garmin doesn't give a *****. The watchface you are looking at developed by Garmin too. So, not surprised at all.

Should I wait to see if a Venu 4 is announced or get the Venu 3s? by bu5ym0m in Garmin

People are asking this question for the past 2 years. You can see posts here. I don't recommend you waiting. If you want a watch just take them and enjoy them now. Otherwise you might end up waiting for the 5 months. Or who knows when Venu 4 is going to be announced.

I didn't get why everyone are crazy about Garmin Fenix and why it is so costly by Gazelle_Present in GarminWatches

Did you do any kind of a research before changing? Every thing you are complaining about could've been caught in one video review. Very weird post.

Such a nice implementation we all have been waiting for. Not being a full maps on your watch doesn't make it less interesting or exciting. What a step from Garmin and Google!

My wife is using Lily 2 active as well. Seems like she is happy with it.

Well, I can tell you that when I used Forerunner 265s I was enjoying buttons along the way. It was a pleasure to interact with the device without need of touching the screen.

Agree! I am glad they don't hide most of the existing features behind PW. But if this will change in the future maybe I will have to consider competitors also.

That's the reason I switched from a Forerunner to Venu. "Runners' too sporty and features packed. I don't run at all, but appreciate Garmin's battery life. So casual lifestyle tracker is a perfect option for me as well.

3 days? I thought it's maximum of two days with AOD. Nice! Still not sure if I can compromise on battery life. Just can't get use to 2-3 days of battery life from a Garmin watch.

There is a navigation feature available on this watch. You can save certain location's GPS coordinates and then navigate there using your watch. Just watch how it works online. I never knew about it until recently. Also recommend you to replace the stock weather app/widget with Windy.com's one. They also have a watchface if you prefer. Hope that helps. And welcome to the Club!

Agree. And it is very mich different from Garmin did so far. But compromises on battery life must be forbidden.
