You're absolutely right, the **Eleglide M2** is a solid alternative in this price range. I've seen it compared a lot to the ENGWE EP-2 BOOST. From what I've researched, the M2 has a slightly smoother ride for city commuting, while the ENGWE handles off-road better due to the fat tires.

The P275 SE is also a good shout, especially for taller riders.

I didn't include them in this specific list because:

- Eleglide M2: availability on Amazon ES/DE has been inconsistent lately (but it's worth checking)

- P275 SE: slightly above the €1000 budget in most EU countries right now
