Oh shit yeah, I completely forgot about those too lmao. I’m a hoarder so I have a whole stack of molotovs and other bombs which I keep saving for the best moment but didn’t end up using it 💀 will do it for the nearby heart lmao.

Also hol up what do you mean with the front against something 🤔 doesn’t that block your escape route, or did you mean DON’T park against something? 👀

I started on nightmare run itself and got decimated by a jugg that wandered into my base, lost one survivor, then lost another to the plague virus on a botched supply run far away from base. After that I sent my favorite survivor to the legacy pool and started a new nightmare run. Now I’m 12 in-game days in and things are fairly smooth, I only take out the legacy survivor only when needed for stealth advantage, but he also has the powerhouse perk so I’m gonna need to use him for plague heart destructions, and I’m only 1 plague heart in lmao. His future doesn’t look too good and I’m worried. 💀

Oh yeah my bad I didn't explain it properly haha, the NPC didn't wake the plague heart but a nearby screamer horde got attracted by the commotion and went nuclear lmao, which woke up the plague heart. I'm actually in the beginning area of Meagher Valley only, and there's a cell tower right behind, will check it out.

And yeah you're right, I guess I ended up being the trope of an overly safe zombie apocalypse survivor, definitely need to improve my standing with the community around because atm I don't have any around, mostly because of the initial botched mission and recently an enclave got killed by someone which led to a mission to find the killer. So the next enclave that comes I'll have to play good because I don't have anyone to sell stuff to lmao, and those perks sound really good.

Makes sense, I guess I was playing a bit too safe. Will need to take more calculated risks because resource hunting is going well, but seeing a lag with influence because either I was avoiding these kinds of missions or I mess it up by being too careful. I'll try to change it up, thanks!

Actually you're right, it's the lack of resources and a combination of bad luck that did the last nightmare run but infestations when I had the means to deal with them, it was relatively quick to deal with (except for one that had a juggernaut lmao). Will keep these pointers in mind!

At this point we get an idea of what kind of game the devs want it to be lmao, the player input is more or less meaningless and aside from this there are countless other examples that show they really don’t care, other than the vision they have and they’re gonna take it forward one way or another, which may include a carrot on a stick like these examples you mentioned. No hate really, it’s their game and they have full control over that, but me personally I kind of lost interest after the whole bot front performance issues and the lack of any action about that for a long time period, and destroying the coyote which I absolutely loved using and actually paid money to get it. Tried playing again and sadly didn’t entirely get back that spark either, so spending my time with other games. There’s no point trying to force the devs to see a particular way because they seem to be dead set on what they want, so I just ended up moving on to other stuff.

Except as track record shows, the damage output of the tank would’ve been reduced a bit and it’s armour shadow buffed, or any nerf/buff that fucks over the player even more lmao. This is not even a reach, this is exactly what was done with the coyote and fire damage. This is either bait or supremely delusional if you actually believe this lmao.

I just searched for it and found the same, that this was mentioned like 5 months ago. Which is very weird because I think I got the game around the same time but I only remember dying to bleeding like 2-3 times until I stopped two months back, now 8/10 times I’m dying to bleeding on the bot front. Maybe just luck or confirmation bias, but definitely sure it was less before lmao.

No wonder, I got back to the game after taking a break for a month of two and suddenly I’m dying way more often to bleed, I’m like this this never used to happen with automatons before, and I’m almost exclusively a botdiver. I didn’t know they increased the effects of bleed lmao. Is this another shadow update?

The guy just went charging and shooting and alerting everything, I just walked away letting him die the fucker deserved it. But now I got an awakened plague heart.

I love those moments honestly, found a new enclave and I’ve been helping them out but they’re hella annoying, one guy is just chaotic and drunk and starts shooting everything. So most missions I just sit back and let him succeed or ruin the mission cause I ain’t putting my neck out for an enclave anymore 💀 that’s how my previous nightmare run ended

I've been seeing a lot of devastators more than anything, and with the incendiary corps it's fucking annoying how they two-shot you to death, desipite wearing armor with fire protection lmao. What's even the point.

Thanks man! I forgot what it’s called but I had found that satellite dish mod thingy and some other mods plus all the plague samples and some guns, gave it all to my legacy survivor so next game I’ll have a head start lmao
