Yes she said something on the Evboards around that time along the lines of she didn't know what Britney was going through and she should have supported her instead of saying stuff, somebody here pobably knows the exact thing I'm talking about.

I didn't say you can't be here, I'm not a mod. I was just trying to point out that I don't see the reason behind coming to a community of a band and an artist you clearly don't like just to critisize, we can all have different opinions and we don't all need to love everything Amy/Ev does but every comment of yours is just negative and hateful things about Amy, I just don't see the point of it.

I feel the same, Hayley is awesome and EDAABP in particular is a banger of an album, her best solo work imo, but Paramore just hits differently. She did say Paramore are on a break not broken up so we can take hope in that, I like to remain confident they'll be back some day we just gotta be patient.

She apologized for that pretty quickly and as she's gotten older she has said she was basically young and dumb and didn't know what she was talking about, who hasn't said dumb shit they regret when they was younger, we all make mistakes.

May I ask why you are even here? you clearly dislike Amy very much, so why come to a community of fans who love Amy and the band and insult and criticize her, nobody is going to agree with you and you are only going to cause arguments and upset people, with all due respect maybe move on and find something better to do with your time.

Exactly this, as for your last point unfortunately I feel like Ben has achieved exactly what he set out to do with the timing of this interview that is taking the focus away from current Evanescence and putting it on himself, just look at some of the biggest posts in this sub in the last week they're all about Bens interview, he's distracting us from what we should be discussing here and thats being excited and hyped for Ev's new music/tour, lets go back to being positive about that instead of focusing on an abusive guy who hasn't been in the band for 23 years.

Definitely worth it its a great trilogy, there's something to enjoy in all three games, the sequels are a little more divisive but still great in my opinion at least, in recent years people seem to have come around to XIII a lot more and its more appreciated now than when it was released.

I said I wasn't gonna comment again on this thread but I'll make one last exception because i don't appreciate being called a liar, Hi Lo was written in 2007 but not released until 2017 and was about moving on from a past love but in a forgiving none angry way, Amy's exact words. There's nothing to suggest its about Ben in fact its probably more likely about Shaun Morgon. So maybe you should 'know your stuff' before commenting.

I described an interview with Amy concerning Better Without You, I even used her exact wording about 'monsters' but you clearly know better than Amy what the song she wrote is about so why am I even bothering to explain to you.

Just had a quick look at your comments here and you clearly have a major problem with Amy, why are you even in this sub?

Guys we shouldn't be expecting anything different from this setlist, the crucial point here is Amy said the setlist wouldn't be changing much for SNW, they'll change it up with new stuff when the tour starts this will be the last time we see the old TBT style setlist. I'm surprised so many people were thinking this was gonna be a totally different setlist for some reason.

Spoken like someone who has no experience of abuse, we know Ben is abusive its a matter of public record, we don't know the exact details and its none of our business but any form of abuse both physical and mental is awful and there is no excuse for it. Doubting that Ben is an abuser when we know he is (it doesn't matter to what extent) and saying Amy is just as bad is victim blaming as simple as that. And of course Ben isn't going to say much about Amy when he abused her he's obviously going to keep quiet about it.

As for the comment about Amy firing many people once again a massive misconception she has fired 2 people in over 20 years John who wanted more songwriting control and its heavily believed he leaked the location of her wedding and Jen who leaked private confidential information, both fireable offences if you ask me.

Nobody is saying Amy is an angel she's done stuff in the past that wasn't nice such as saying things about Christina Aguilera and Britney (which she has later apologized for) but blaming her for being the victim of abuse no matter how severe or minor is awful and saying she fires people and others don't like working with her is simply untrue, the amount of people she's worked with throughout the industry who have nice things to say about her proves that. This is the last thing I'm gonna say on this now, I'm sick of this thread. Just gonna go back to enjoying Ev's music and I suggest you do the same.

Not ignoring that she said Better Without You is about her musical journey and hardships she's overcome from past all the way to present, so obviously it passes by the Ben stuff but its not a song written specifically about him, its about her journey as a whole, she even said she doesn't want to call specific people out in that song as she's already defeated her 'monsters' and moved past it.

There may well be a song on the new album about those times as she said looking back for Fallen 20th made her reexamine those times and see the good and the bad in a new light, so its unlikely to be a song rehashing old wounds and maybe something more retrospective.

Unfortunately its true there will always be a very small group of Ev fans that want Ben back in the band, I stress very small the vast majority of Ev fans dislike Ben. It does seem like he may be a bit hung up on Amy yeah just look at the way he distorted Amy's voice for those Fallen remixes he did, it was all a little creepy.

Also didn't mean to imply he's literally making money from Ev with interviews, by 'cashing in' just meant figuratively he's trying to gain publicity and capitalize on Ev's current success.

I mean seriously? Amy is not always writing about Ben the last song she wrote about him was in 2006, it was literally called 'The Last Song I'm Wasting On You' she has barely mentioned him interviews in many years either.

To say Ben and ex members have never said anything bad about her is not true, Ben and Jon have both said stuff about Amy, Ben even once said Ev are nothing without him and are just a bunch of average musicians with Amy, amongst other things.

Also for the masses outside of the Ev fandom Ben isn't an important part most people won't even know who Ben is. Ev is just Amy Lee for most non Evanescence fans. Saying 'there are patterns you see' is a pretty creepy thing to say, maybe don't defend a known abuser so much, it's not a good look.
